Seoul Euljiro Night Food Tour

This was such an interesting tour. It was made even better by our very accommodating and supportive tour guide, Sally. She introduced us to Euljiro, had a good walk around the place, ate in a very locally themed Korean Resto, then went to this lovely place for coffee before heading to Gwangjang Market for the Mung Bean, via the Cheonggyeon Stream. Truly a recommended and must try tour.

Had a pleasant experience. Besides eating the famous grilled pork belly next to Euljiro's street that was featured in BTS's MV, our guide Sally-ssi brought us around Euljiro and explained the region's history. We managed to try more famous snacks along the way e.g. deep fried rice cake that is shaped like a screw (locals really queued for this). Along the way, we saw how the modern and traditional buildings blended uniquely and we even managed to see the mountain behind Dongmyo. Ended the tour in Gwangjang traditional market after having traditional snacks. It was an enjoyable experience that helped us understand a little more about the local culture.

Had so much fun getting an inside look at Euljiro and the old printing shop culture there. Sophie was the best!! Learned how to eat BBQ and drink there too! Also you get to go to Gwangjang market so save some room for the amazing mung bean pancakes.

Our tour guide, Sophie, if my memory serves me well, she was very knowledgeable regarding history of the area, eating and drinking culture and pop'culture in general. we had walks in between restaurants. Just me and my travel buddy as guests so it felt very private. would suggest booking this tour during non-summer season though. thank you to our tour guide. :)

Alan was a fantastic tour guide! He was knowledgeable about the Euljiro area and showed us some very interesting and out of the way spots. His two choices for where we are were unique and very authentic Korean restaurants. It was a special evening. I highly recommend this tour.

Had a great time with great food, but unfortunately i was the only person who had booked for that time slot which took away from the experience a little bit. I imagine its much better as a group.
