Reviews
Located near Asakusa Station. quite a wide variety of kimonos for you to choose. For hair style, if you wish to opt for the slightly fashionable ones, you will have to pay 2200 yen for it. Booked the 9am slot, dress up done at 10am, got to return the kimono by 4.30pm on the same day
Quite a memorable and pleasant experience. Recommended to book for the earliest time slot (9.00am) to avoid the crowd and fully . The host will try their best to attend to you and provided you with a bag to keep your belongings. The shop is just beside Sumida river, nice location for photoshoot overlooking SKYTREE.
I have experienced Kimono Asakusa many times! The service is still as good as ever! This time we had an uncontrollable son and got into temper tantrums all the time, but they received us very patiently and even brought out toys to comfort the children. Next time we will still choose Asakusa Ai!
A family of four ordered the first yukata experience at 09:00 that day. Although I was a little lost when I got out of the subway station, I arrived 7 minutes late (it is recommended to go out of Exit 5 of Tokyo Metro Asakusa Station, and then walk straight for about three minutes. Arrived), but the service staff still entertained us kindly, personal belongings will be bagged and most of the counter staff can speak Chinese, so communication is barrier-free. Men and women wear yukata in different areas. The Japanese master who assists in wearing yukata is very professional. He will ask us how we feel during the process, which makes us feel respected. The female part will give simple makeup and hair design, and the children are also very happy to have such an experience.
We booked a kimono rental experience for 4 people on Klook early in the morning. Upon arrival, the staff informed us that there was a more favorable package available. So, we switched to another package (2 adults, 1 child + 1 student). We are very grateful for the staff's thoughtful arrangement.
Even with a reservation, there's a chance it might be deleted because the shop is so popular! It's very convenient that there are Taiwanese staff at the counter who can speak Chinese. The stylist who helped me with my full body look was very kind and enthusiastic about helping me find a style I liked 🫶. The only downside was that there were too many people, so the waiting time was too long. The makeup artist I had didn't create a look I liked 😅, but the hairstylist was great, very skilled, and created a lovely Japanese-style look! Overall, it allowed me to successfully attend the fireworks festival 💯.
Our family had such a great time wearing kimonos and walking around Asakusa. Definitely an experience to be remembered!
Even with a reservation, there's a chance of cancellation because the salon is so popular! It was very convenient that there was a Taiwanese person at the counter who could speak Chinese. The stylist who helped me with my full body look was very kind and enthusiastically helped me find a style I liked. The only downside at A2 was the long wait time due to too many people. The makeup artist I had didn't create a look I liked, but the hairstyle was okay; it was a very Japanese style, and the stylist was very skilled! Overall, it helped me successfully attend the fireworks festival.
I'm so glad I booked Asakusa Aiwafuku. I felt so safe as soon as I entered (the staff speaks Chinese, so I didn't have to tire myself translating, haha). The staff who helped us put on the kimonos and do the hair spoke Japanese, but they were very patient in explaining what we needed to do next. Plus, I brought two little monsters (children under three years old), and they were very tolerant. I was really touched. The kimonos were in great condition and very clean. It's a little unfortunate that the children's kimonos weren't quite what I imagined, but if I have the chance to wear a kimono again, I would be willing to go back.
普通話 簡易英語加少少日文 連埋身體語言 都有,溝通絕對無難道!親切友善派,讚!2大2小預約左10點 11點已經影緊相,亦都唔會強逼加價去upgrade 款式髮型。全程感覺良好!
