Dark Sky Gold Stars Sunset Dinner Tour in Mannum

This is an absolute must-do if you're visiting Adelaide! The Murray River Dark Sky Reserve was nothing short of spectacular. The sky was literally carpeted with stars—a breathtaking sight for us city-dwellers! Kelly from Juggle House Tours was wonderfully warm and friendly. The Murray River cruise was delightful, with fascinating birdlife, a glimpse of the historic paddle steamer Princess Marion, and excellent commentary by Levi. Dinner was simple but delicious, with plenty of vegetarian options despite being an Aussie BBQ! The highlight was undoubtedly the stargazing experience at a private site. They even provided bathtubs to recline in while admiring the stars—such a brilliant touch! The two astronomers were incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, and seeing Saturn through their telescope was unforgettable. Dress warmly as it gets chilly! Easily one of my top five travel experiences ever. Truly magical and highly recommended!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Absolutely Magical Experience! Mannum Dark Sky Reserve was truly unforgettable! Our awesome guide, Kelly from Juggle House Tours, made the evening extra special with her warmth, enthusiasm and thoughtful touches. She even took us to her favourite spot, Forster Lookout, for breathtaking views! Stargazing under a sky carpeted with stars was simply magical. The warm Milo and Milky Way and Mars bars were delightful touches—complete with wonderfully corny Aussie humour! Easily one of our best travel experiences ever. A must-do!

This tour was a delightful surprise! The “limousine” pickup was a luxurious start to a memorable evening. Even with a half-moon and some clouds, the sky was captivating. The moon's soft glow added a unique touch, and the stars that peeked through the clouds sparkled brilliantly. Our guides were fantastic, sharing interesting facts about the constellations and moon phases. It was a wonderful blend of luxury and natural beauty, proving that even with some cloud cover, the night sky is always breathtaking. Highly recommended!
