[Winter Limited] Gangwon-do Welli Hilli Ski Resort One Day Tour

It happened to be a snowy day. The snow conditions in the ski resort were very good, soft and slippery. The tour guide Kay was very kind and patient. He also drove very carefully. Even if it snowed heavily, it was very comfortable and safe. The quality of the rental snowsuits, snow pants and helmets is also very good. They are in very new condition and look good.

It’s a very fun trip. A driver will take us to the ski resort to rent equipment. Remember to buy ski gloves on site. It’s super expensive 🥲🥲 It’s almost NT$600. The ski resort is very big and almost all are Koreans. There aren’t many outsiders. The environment is beautiful and I happened to meet you there. until it snows

Although the rules stated that less than 5 people could not make the trip, even though the itinerary was adjusted, there were still only four people in our group. The driver and coach took us very responsibly. If we still have the chance, we will definitely participate again. 😊

You only need to rent a helmet for KRW 10,000. Others bring your own glasses and gloves. The clothes are also included, which is definitely very cost-effective.

The tour guide is very attentive and will remind you of the itinerary at any time; the ski resort has an express cable car, the local staff are very friendly, and the ski resort is pretty good, with extreme parks, super half piles, and long-distance ski trails.

I think this package is a super good deal compared to European prices. The resort isn't very big but the slopes were nice, a few steep ones too and the jumps, rails and half pipe were great (23/02/2024), overall fun for a 1 day trip. I booked full package for 86$ per person (driver + pass + snowboard equipment + slothes). Ricky was fun and entretaining guide/driver. -MINIVAN: driver minivan with 4 to 8 other skiers (there are no toilet/shop stops) - Myeongdong Station Exit 2 to -> ski clothes rental to -> to ski resort and back -SKI LIST PASS : Included in my package -SKI EQUIMENT = Standard rental quality: skis + ski boots or snowboard + snowboard boots -SKI SUIT : rental shop has mono suits, and pants and jackets all different colors thickness, models and sizes up to XXL, I was super supresed many cool options, and all different so nodody looks the same. In addition I rented a helmet for 10,000 won and googles for 10,000 won and I bought ski gloves (nor for rent) for 18,000 won. There is supermarket by the slopes and several food stalls, korean and fast food.

Had a great day snowboarding at this resort. The driver pick up time was on point. We only had 5 people on that day so we drove by car (which was super convenient). The resort itself is huge with a lot of tracks to choose from. Definitely will go again!

So much better than Jisan Ski Tour. Although It is a bit further than Jisan, the experience was much worthy.

Welli Hilli ski resort offers a variety of slopes for beginners. The beginner slopes are also long enough, making it enjoyable. The queue to the lift is very short, with less than 1 minute waiting time giving more time to ski. The travel time from Seoul to the resort took around 3 hours due to the heavy snow.

It was like a private tour since we only have less people. The guide came to our place to pick us up himself, because unlike the other packages they have a whole group and we are just 4 people. Overall is pretty good. A few downsides are the clothes that we rented smells a bit and keep in mind that gloves and helmets are not included. A bit tad more expensive than other's location (maybe it's a bit further comepare to other locations?)
