It was a long and rainy day but definitely worth it. our tour guide was very knowledgeable, friendly and ensured we all kept with pace and meeting times. The activities were worth the price. Wear comfortable shoes you will do lots of walking and steps but that’s Japan in general. the buffet lunch option was nice. It was traditional Kyoto based items. I highly recommend Limon company.
My family and I had a wonderful time joining this tour especially with the excellent service provided by our tour guide; Ms Winnie. She has a very nice and humble personalities and always showing her concern and care for all of us.
Masa was an amazing tour guide!! from beginning to end he really made sure to make our trip amazing and so worthwhile. he explained all the steps of the day trip, gave a great map with instructions and led us through a VERY busy Kyoto with class and respect for all. the three locations were perfect - even during peak bloom on a very busy Saturday. the lunch was great and the bus and trips were more than manageable. pro tips: bring cash to stop at places along the way at each location, a charger plug is on the bus so that can charge your devices and HAVE FUN!
Amazing day! Guide was friendly and informative. Attractions were very crowded so very surprised we got through the whole itinerary. There is no way we would have got so much done in one day by ourselves.
the English Tour guide was so Kind very Hardworking, She Give us detailed instructions , she go with us always whenever the tour , she see to it that we are complete, and even she is old maybe she is senior citizen but amazing she is very Fast- What is good to this tour totally because of her, And the drive is silent only but atleast he keep us Safe- we are family, 2 teenagers and 2 adult. we pay for P4 ,900 philippibe pesos for each person, but iy is Worth it for me with buffet because atleast save time to choose what do you want to eat and end up more expensive- also all entrance included - this is fully loaded Klook nerver fails me- its just like complete-1. Transportation 2 Scenery 3. Save time -the Tour and location is not easily to access bu transpo- it take to 40 minutes Each location so you need private bus the advange of this tour is you just lessen the hassle to locate tje tourist spot-
This tour is amazing, we get to visit the most famous shrines and temples from the west side of the Kyoto country side to the east. We were surprised the good quality of food at the buffet lunch. our guide Alice was caring with detailed information. Highly recommended.
The itinerary offered was value for money and was perfect for us sight-seeing lovers! We loved the scenery and the photo-spots that it offered. We want to give a special shoutout to our Limon Tour conductor, Akira, who offered to go above and beyond his duties and was incredibly friendly. Akira was very knowledgeable and friendly - offering us small facts along the way as he introduced the different sites which made each site more meaningful. He also offered to take pictures for each family and brought us around, which we really appreciated :) While our experience was mostly positive, it could be made better with more time given to shop and eat the street foods. It was very very crowded but that can be due to the peak tourism periods in Japan. Overall, I highly recommend Limon and Akira!
easy to spot the meetup point, guide Maria from Limon tours was very friendly, we were given maps for every stopover, she also gave us tips to get shots with lesser crowd, gave us options how to get there (on our own or with her), best part of the tour was the usb cable charger! was able to recharge everytime we got back which was very helpful, attire made them very visible
very worth the price!!!! loved Kyoto so much. Buffet Lunch is worth the price - very good japanese meals. highlight of the tour was the Sagano train. We left OCAT at around 9am and was back around 6:45pm.
My 2nd time with Limon tour booked through Klook. Booking a tour to the kyoto sites during autumn was a really good decision because it's was really crowded everywhere due to peak season and the last thing in our head is to worry about where to find food, more walking, and transportation. Itinerary maybe a bit rush, but the view is totally breathtaking and worth it.. so don't go expecting you have time to shop for things and slowly explore. Furthermore, you definitely have confirmed tickets for the Sangano train and Kiyomizudera (latter only if you go for buffet option). Maria was our guide and she had done a really thorough explanation of the key sites and instructions before each destination. It was immersingly enjoyable trip, even with I had my preschool kid along. The itinerary was also quite well plan to end with Kiyomizudera before Sagano train so that we can catch the very beautiful sunset at the temple. Highly recommend this tour, especially during key seasons.
Good to know
- Wear Comfortable Shoes for a Scenic Walk: Sagano is best explored on foot. Wear comfortable shoes for walking as you explore the area’s scenic paths, from the bamboo groves to the hillside temples. The walk through the natural landscape is one of the most rewarding parts of the tour.
- Kiyomizu-dera is partially under construction, so some sights may not be fully visible.
