It doesn’t take long to make, but everyone will take home their own suncakes (6 pieces in total). The admission fee for children under 12 years old is 50 yuan, but there will be no finished product!

In the hot summer, you can make suncakes in the air-conditioned room. It’s so comfortable. You can make it into the shape you want. It’s also very cute when baked. The baker is very attentive and will help correct the crooked ones. It’s a great experience 🙂

The production process only takes 20 minutes because the dough and filling are pre-made by the master. Upon arrival, you only shape them, so there isn't much of a production process to experience. However, you do get to take home 6 pineapple cakes.

Weekday registration for the DIY Sun Cake experience (morning session - private booking), production time is 15-20 minutes, baking and pickup will require a wait of approximately 90 minutes. You can dine at the nearby Second Market, have coffee at Central Bookstore and read picture books with your children, and then pick up your order.

I participated in the sun cake DIY. The making process took about 30 minutes. After finishing, I had to wait 90 minutes for baking. I tried it immediately after getting it back to the hotel. It was very crispy.
