Yeontabal BBQ Restaurant

The meat was very flavorful. We were quite tired after checking into our hotel in Seoul and needed to take a cab to be in time for our reservation at Yeontabal. The dinner really brightened up our day. The ajumma helped us to barbecue the meat to perfection. We would love to be back again soon if possible.

We went the the Gangnam location. Was really tasty! Ordered king ribs for 2 people and then serving was massive. No need to order more! Quality was good. The location of the restaurant is in the Ara building but you have to go down to B1 via lift. Doesn’t mention this in the description so FYI!

Taste of the beef is really good, must try. I will certainly go back next time if I’m in Seoul again.

The SIM card which we got from Klook doesn’t seem to work every time; especially immediately after we emerged from the subway station!! Thank goodness the locals are very helpful! Suggest to include written direction how to locate restaurant, starting from station. Name of restaurant written in Korea; NOT English!! The good BBQ beef ribs & the happy, cheerful waitress who attended to us made up for the frustrations we had searching for this restaurant! Yes, it’s a restaurant worths returning to!!

We went to the Apjugeong outlet and it was a fairly long walk to the restaurant. May be better to alight at Sinja station instead. The grilled beef rib was nicely marinated and really tender and sweet. The fact that Yeontabal uses real charcoal for the grill must mean that the grilled meats have a bettee fragrance and good char to it! There were several complimentary side dishes and salads which are refillable. I really miss the flavour of their grilled beef ribs but was a great pity i did not have the time to eat there a second time.

Purchased the 300g king beef ribs option for the Jongno location. The meal was was wonderful and just the right amount of food. The restaurant was expecting us and had our table ready even though were 20 mins early. They even had our reservation written up on a whiteboard. The staff doesn't speak much English but they are very friendly.

The beef hot pot is sweet, and three people have enough food. The waiter is more expressive, the other is wooden, and once is enough.

Best piece of beef I’ve tasted so far! Claimed this at COEX branch and the place may look intimidating at first, but they have friendly and accommodating staff. The quality of the Korean Beef they served was superb and worth the price we paid.

We went to the Jongro branch. The place was really hard to find even when we used google maps and asked anyone there. But the food were delicious and they gave us generous amount of side dishes. Thank you!
