Scenic Yarra Valley Horse Trail Ride with Wine Tasting

A bit of a thrill for complete novices, the ride takes an hour back and forth to the hut on the mountain, with woods and steep trails along the way. The mountain hut is relatively simple, and the wine provided is ordinary but can be used for rest. It would be better if you could spend more time interacting with the horses.

The staff were so friendly and lovely. The horses were all so beautiful as well. I would highly recommend this activity to anyone who is looking for a fun day out with family or friends. Overall, had a really fun and good experience!

My experience at Yarra Valley Chum Creek for horse riding was delightful. I was introduced to 'Sugar,' a wonderfully gentle horse, which was a perfect match for someone like me, with no prior riding experience. Spending time with Sugar was truly enjoyable. However, the situation with horse droppings was less than ideal as it attracted flies, causing a bit of a nuisance. The flies not only bothered us but also distressed the horses. I'd strongly recommend wearing fully covered clothing to shield yourself from these flies. Despite this issue, the riding journey itself was fantastic, offering breathtaking views of the Yarra Valley. We even made a stop at a hut for some wine tasting, which was a delightful addition. The quality of the wine was excellent, and everyone engaged well, creating a friendly atmosphere. Overall, it was a good experience, although the fly situation did detract a bit from an otherwise perfect outing. I remain hopeful that this issue will be resolved for future visitors to enjoy an impeccable experience.

really fun! Great for people with no experience. would love it if I was allowed to gallop on my horse as I have some experience riding!
