Review for: Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary General Admission

The interactions with the animals are unforgettable. I saw a Tasmanian Devil for the first time—she was so cute! I also got to pet a kangaroo, saw a wombat, and enjoyed observing other fascinating creatures. Near the entrance, there’s a nest where you can spot a wild possum hanging out—it was so funny and adorable. They offer daily free tours and optional paid interactions with the animals, which are absolutely worth it. What’s even better is that the sanctuary is self-funded, and every visit helps them continue their work. Plus, 50% of the proceeds from souvenirs go to other charities, which I love. This place is a must-visit for animal lovers and anyone looking to support a great cause!

It's a small cute sanctuary, it probably is only about 40 minutes, but I think it's definitely worth visiting. You can be close to the animals, I mean the kangaroos were literally hanging out on the pathway chilling, so cool. My favs are Tamagotchi and Luigi, you'll know if you've been there

This is definitely one of the MUST-VISIT in Tasmania! They have hundreds of kangaroos lazily lying on the grass but they get super excited when they see you come in with food! Get a bag of snacks at the ticket counter so that you can feed them! They are huge but lovely! Be that as it may, there are Tasmanian Devils and cute fatty bumb bumb - wombats in the sanctuary!

This is sooo worth it. Staff is knowledgeable. Close encounters with kangaroos and tasmanian devils. You help out this wonderful sanctuary by visiting, donating, and getting stuff from the gift shop. I left obsessed with devils after this trip. Highly recommend visiting!!! Ps. Wear boots if coming on a rainy day.
