What to expect

The National Museum of Marine Biology and Aquarium (屏東海生館), recommended by the Michelin Guide as a must-visit, allows you to admire underwater tunnels, beluga whales, rays, and penguins, exploring the most amazing marine ecology! The aquarium is divided into three exhibition halls: the Taiwan Waters Hall, the Coral Kingdom Hall, and the World Waters Hall, encompassing various aquatic ecologies in Taiwan, as well as virtual reality experiences of polar waters and deep-sea waters, providing an immersive experience. Visit the Coral Kingdom Hall (Southeast Asia's longest underwater tunnel), the Taiwan Waters Hall (learn about the aquatic ecology from mountains to the ocean), and the Waters of the World Hall (view ancient oceans, kelp forests, deep-sea waters, and polar waters in 3D virtual reality), visit gentleman penguins, and dance with beluga whales.
