Reviews
Although it rained that day, the staff also offered to change to indoor accommodation. In addition, you must pay money to become a member when checking in. There is food to buy and kitchen utensils provided in the camp, which is great for cooking! The hot water camp is a water storage type, so hurry up!
It’s so bad 😂 The book was in front of the No. 8 typhoon signal, but the No. 3 typhoon signal has not yet passed. I asked the staff and they will take action, so I went ahead! Nice, he said that if it’s really windy and rainy, he can isolate the D room in the youth hostel! The camp is very big and beautiful. The kitchen is fully equipped, but you need to bring your own oil, seasonings and a small amount of boardgame. The scenery is beautiful. Overall, it is an unforgettable experience!
Quiet environment. If you want to go up the mountain to watch the sunrise, it would be better to use this as a stopover to have enough food before setting off in the middle of the night.
Take the bus from Tung Chung to Ngong Ping and walk for about 15 minutes. When checking in, the YHA staff introduced nearby hiking trails. You can go up Mount Maitreya to enjoy the sunset. I hope you have the opportunity to see it next time. This time I stayed at the round tent camp. Although there was no air conditioning and only a fan, because it was located on a mountain, the temperature was very comfortable and I didn’t feel hot when I slept at night. Toilets and bathrooms need to be shared. It depends on personal acceptance. I personally can accept it. It is also very satisfying to bring your own stove and cook while chasing the moon at night.
Although the period has been changed several times due to renovations, the staff are friendly and everyone tries their best. In the end, they are satisfied with the service and the environment. It is estimated that the night will be freezing in mid-April, and the temperature difference between morning and evening is relatively large.
The environment is quiet and the basic facilities are quite complete, but the toilet is a bit shabby
When I booked, when the epidemic happened, wow, HA is a good person, so you can help me reschedule, and the environment is quite quiet
It is far away from the urban area and the environment is quiet, but the hostel staff did not give us blankets, so it will be a little cold when we sleep.
nice place for holiday
It’s a very comfortable camp. There’s almost everything. There’s a kitchen. You have to bring your own ingredients. You can cook or burn food. The toilets are also very clean. When we went, there was no one there, so it seemed to be tight.
