Half Day Wavebreak Island Snorkeling

Our family of five, including two nieces/nephews, participated. The pick-up service was on time. After a 20-minute boat ride, we arrived at the snorkeling point, where we spent time snorkeling. If you get tired, you can rest on the island. There are more fish than expected, but not many varieties. The water isn't as cold as you might think. You can have a good time, and the staff are very professional and friendly. However, don't expect much from the shower facilities. Bring as little luggage as possible and remember to bring your own towel.

It was a bit cold because of the strong wind that day. But it is actually fun, there are many wave breaks 🐟. There are also big standing fish that can bite people's fingers. I'll bite my finger by a big standing fish🤣

Before departure, the diving company will inquire whether a pickup service is needed, and we used this service. On the day, there was a bit of confusion during the activity consent form signing and changing clothes at the dive shop. I feel the process could be smoother, but it might be because there were more people that day? After heading out to sea, things went much smoother, and even family members who couldn't swim/speak English enjoyed the water activities. The instructors were very enthusiastic and passionate about their work, helping each member of our group enjoy the activity. Some tea and water are provided on board. It is recommended to bring a waterproof phone pouch and waterproof bag to carry important items on the boat, and leave the change of clothes at the dive shop. Overall, it was a very enjoyable trip for our first snorkeling experience, and I highly recommend it.

The coaches are nice and the whole activity lasted longer than expected, from 1000-1430 (back to the hop on point)

The team from Scuba dive kept my family safe and made our experience a truly enjoyable one from the start of our hotel pick up til drop off. The snorkelling was amazing and felt like time stood still during the 4 hour experience. it was just me and the fishes. my family had a wonderful time. I highly recommend this experience for all families with young kids to older kids as it will satisfy all ages and swimming experience.

The coach explained clearly and took care of us at a very close distance throughout the whole process. Although there are not many types of fish in Duanlang Island, the staff prepared fish food for me to feed the fish. I saw three or four kinds of fish swimming around me, and I was also very excited. It is a recommended itinerary

Had a great time! Instructors are very professional, definitely felt in safe hands. Condition of equipment was great, location was just a tad bit tough to locate, needed to walk pretty far down the pier to find them. Earlier signage would be helpful. Rented a gopro for a reasonable price which was great! However, snorkeling location was a bit underwhelming. Could only really spot 3 species of fish and a jellyfish or two. It was really helpful that we were provided with some food to feed the fishes which brought them really close to us. However, after an hour, pretty much saw everything there was to see. It was good that the location is near shore which allowed us to beach up and rest a bit and enjoyed the sun instead of just going back up to the boat. Water was quite murky which meant that the fishes needed to be really close in order to see much, but again, the food helped to bring them close enough to us. Activity was also quite free and easy, we were handed the equipment and we explored on our own independently. Good for beginner snorkellers!
