Jokulsarlon Glacial Lagoon Day Tour

I think the tour forget to pick us up, we waited from 6.55am till 7.30am and the bus didn't come to pick us up. I called them at 7.30am and they send a bus to pick us up, we almost missed the tour. Overall, the tour was fantastic, beautiful scenery and ample time to tour at the glacier lagoon. The only bad thing is that meal time was abit rush but understandable.

Although the drive is a bit far away and it melts more than I thought, it is still worth visiting the attractions. The on-board tour guide and parking also make us look at Aurora.

The activity time is very long, but the explanation is not too much, mainly because the tourists are free to move.

great trip and nice arrangement

We’re very disappointed of this tour arrangement. Firstly, we arrived at the pick up point at 7:05am and waiting for the bus. I guess the bus did come but the voucher was totally uncleared about the time and which was the local tour operator. We obviously didn’t board the bus due to the unclear information shown on the voucher. Second, we were waiting for 80 min at the bus stop freezing cold and finally found the phone number at the end of the voucher and did 2 long distance calls to Reykjavík local tour operator. We were then being arranged to another tour (The south shore day tour). However, the local tour operator refused to refund the difference due to the original Jokulsarlon glacial lagoon day trip is much more expensive than the south shore tour. The local tour operator (Reykjavík excursion) should refund us the difference due to the blurred instructions.

Originally thought that this trip included the glacial lake, but the tour guide said that winter is not open! The glaciers are spectacular and are worth a trip. It is recommended that Klook can separate the winter and summer trips, and it will not cause misunderstanding!

Finally, I have never been to Diamond Beach, which made me a little disappointed! In addition, the black sand beaches that have been visited are not on the basalt side, just in the vik dinner. There are a lot of bus people, and there is very little time to stay at each attraction. Also, there are more than a dozen German tourists on the bus. The tour guides are very *careful*, often in German, so that other English-based trips are ignored!
