What to expect
If you've never been to New York before, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, also called The Met, might seem like just another museum—but it's not. The structure of this 140 year old museum is neoclassical, measuring 180,000 square meters, and containing 2 million works. It receives more than 5.2 million visitors each year. In this tour, you'll explore the galleries of the gigantic museum, and get access to the collections and exhibits, such as the Egyptian Temple of Dendur, The American Wing, and the Robert Lehman Collection. Then you'll have some free time to explore the other parts of The Met on your own, including The Met Fifth Avenue and The Met Breuer. Whether you're on a short trip to New York City or you're an art lover who simply wants to discover more masterpieces, this tour is for you.

Reviews
An amazing museum! It feels like you'd need at least a week to see it all. I got so engrossed with the Impressionists that I lost track of my group.
The tour guide Ryan is very enthusiastic about the history of cultural relics. He will also help to take pictures in detail. The Metropolitan Museum is the best parent-child activity in the historical relics museum. I like the culture and art stories. The sculptures are really worth the fare. It is recommended to buy them at Klook, just scan the QR code up.
Our guide, John, presented 5,000 years of art history to us in a brilliant and vivid way, all within just two hours. John also introduced us to important artists and significant works from each period. If we can return next time, we'll be able to plan our own routes based on our interests and spend more time admiring the works that captivate us.
You can’t bring food inside and you will check your bags. Before entering, it’s best to take a map at the door and ask the staff what you want to see, because it’s too big to walk through. There is a toilet behind the pyramid area. It’s recommended to finish using it before starting shopping
The first experience is very suitable for joining a guided tour, but the explanation is all in English, but the tour guide is very dedicated and the tour lasted for three hours! I will still buy it next time I go there!
we had a great experience with our guide, Katie who added much richer perspective of the art through sharing of her own life experiences during the tour. I actually came out of the tour much inspired by the art pieces!
Super worth the time and money! Our guide Ryan was informative and humorous at the same time. I thoroughly enjoyed the 3 hr tour. Strongly recommended!
The French tour guide was incredibly dedicated and explained everything thoroughly for two hours straight without a break.
The tour guide is very interesting. He introduces several important exhibits in detail and explains them in different ways.
A pleasant feast for the eyes and a collision of minds tour. It would be better if the tour guide could introduce more famous paintings instead of introducing them according to his own preferences.
