Discover a treasured Korean tradition as you hand-carve your own lucky fish, known as aekmagi myeongtae (액막이 명태), a symbol of protection, good fortune, and keeping bad luck away.
In this small-group workshop in Hongdae, discover the fascinating beliefs behind this traditional charm while learning beginner-friendly woodcarving with personal guidance.
Finish your fish with traditional Korean silk thread and a small brass bell, then add a complimentary personalized wooden name tag for an extra-special touch.

Beginner-friendly: No previous woodcarving experience is needed. A complimentary personalized wooden name tag is included with your lucky fish. No additional payment is required. Small group activity. Safety: Cut-resistant gloves are provided and carving tools are used under guidance. Studio location: 3rd floor; mention stairs/elevator only if relevant.
