Windermere & the Lake District Tour from Manchester

Enjoyable tour to the Lake district area. Itinerary was well paced and there was time to walk around and explore the village towns leisurely. Guide Steve shared interesting insights into the history of the places and people as well.

Our tour was by Rabbie's. Our group loved the tour and guide/captain Darren. He is lovely, comical, clear and informative. in my opinion, by far best guide i've came across. Places visted was all beautiful and special. My personal favourite, ferry ride at Windemere.

A big thank you to our guide, Mike (hope I got his name spelling right) , Mike was very knowledgeable and give us interesting history throughout the day. It was raining but still beautiful scenery. There was a massive jam on the way back but Mike drove us back safely very thankful for the pleasant tour

small group, great value, beautiful itinerary, safe and friendly driver, a fantastic way to have a day’s view of the lake district. yummy recommendations from the driver as well!

The tour features rich attractions, beautiful scenery, and a professional guide. However, out of the 10-hour trip, the majority of the time is spent on the bus. Stopover times at the destinations are quite short , making the ratio of sightseeing to travel time unbalanced and the pace feel rushed.

Very good day tour when you are at Manchester! Our driver and guide for 24 Nov tour is very good in driving and very friendly! Recommended!

Totally worth it! The driver + guide is very experienced and friendly too! it was a perfect size for a day tour trip. Unfortunately the weather was not the best, still we managed to finish all spots and it worths still! Remember to drop by KITTchEN: P*ssy & Pints! Amazing bar!! Mind that the pick up point for the trip is a bit hard to find in Google Map though.

Every place we visited was absolutely stunning and captured my heart. Windermere and Grasmere were even more beautiful than I had imagined. The drive was very comfortable, and I loved watching the beautiful countryside scenery from the window. It became one of my favorite memories from this trip. A truly lovely tour!

I very enjoy this tour, The driver also is our tour guide introduced a lot of history and story about the place, which is very informative and interesting. The lake district is very pretty, worth to visit when you are there.

The tour guide's introduction to the attractions was very informative and interesting. The meeting point was easy to find, and the driving was smooth. The whole trip was stress-free, and I was happy to participate in this itinerary.
