What to expect
Step into Guangyuyuan, a historic TCM pharmacy founded in 1541, for a 2.5-hour cultural experience on Beijing’s Qianmen Street. With an English-speaking host, explore seven museum halls and discover herbs through sight, scent and touch. Learn to roll hawthorn pills, weigh aromatic botanicals on a brass scale and sew your own silk sachet. Take both handmade keepsakes home in a Guangyuyuan gift box.
