Xiang Fei Park

Xiangfei Park is located in the eastern suburbs of Kashgar City. Xiangfei Park is named after "Xiangfei" (Fragrant Concubine). The scenic area was designated as a key cultural relic protection unit in 1988. In 2014, it began a renovation and upgrade project, which was largely completed in August this year. After the renovation, the area increased from 70 mu to 300 mu. The architectural style highlights the integration of traditional architecture and modern elements, telling the legendary story of Xiangfei from birth to death, from Kashgar to Beijing, and from a noble princess to a beloved concubine, from three aspects: her hometown, former residence, and personal history.

Xiangfei Park consists of the National Unity Exhibition Hall, Xiangfei's Home, Ancient Mill, Relief Wall, Love Tree, Baoyue Tower, Mirror Pool, Main Tomb Chamber, Scripture Hall, High and Low Mosques, Xiangfei Gallery, Xiangfei Teahouse, Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition Area, Song and Dance Performance Hall, Gourmet Restaurant, and Tourist Souvenir Mall.

With the story of Emperor Qianlong and Xiangfei as the main theme, Xiangfei Park closely adheres to the theme of national unity. Through continuous excavation and enrichment of the scenic content and Xiangfei's story, the park fully demonstrates the wonderful stories of Kashgar, where various ethnic groups in Xinjiang have interacted, exchanged, and integrated since ancient times.

The Xiangfei welcoming ceremony and the large-scale song and dance drama "Happy Xiangfei" in Xiangfei Park allow visitors to more clearly feel the humanistic charm of the "land of song and dance" and the regional characteristic of "Xiangfei everywhere in Kashgar"; the Uyghur ethnic wedding experience and intangible cultural heritage handicraft experience allow tourists to more directly touch the unique customs of the Uyghur people and the rich connotation of "you haven't been to Xinjiang until you've been to Kashgar"; the free ethnic flower hats and dried fruit sets allow tourists to more concretely feel the hospitality of Kashgar and its well-deserved reputation as a "city of gourmet food"; the diverse Xiangfei cultural and creative products and Xiangfei gifts allow visitors to experience the unique and colorful "food, accommodation, travel, shopping, and entertainment" of Kashgar more richly.
