The Yellow Crane Tower is a landmark building in Wuhan, located on the banks of the Yangtze River, atop Snake Hill in Wuchang. Many famous figures have left behind renowned poems and essays here. The Yellow Crane Tower is said to have been built during the Three Kingdoms period, but it has been destroyed and rebuilt many times; what we see today was reconstructed in 1985. Ascending the Yellow Crane Tower, one can behold the spectacular view of the Yangtze River and the three towns of Wuhan.
