best choice to see Christchurch in a day! easy to redeem tickets, my steps was punting-gondola-tram. Punting at Avon River in the morning was very satisfying and soothing experience as the breeze flew in. Niceeee! the tram can hop on-off in a day.

I only had 1 full day in Christchurch so I booked this combo + botanic gardens. It really is possible to see central Christchurch in a day with this tour package. Hopping on the tram is so cool and the views at the gondola did not disappoint. you can even roam around the top of the actual mountain which was pretty cool. The punt along the avon was also enjoyable - a different way to see the gardens and a bit of history.

Christchurch was amazing! Definitely cold but worth it. Was there for a business trip and only really had a few days to go around. Punting on the Avon and the Tram pass was amazing. Make sure to call a day ahead of the Punting activity to schedule your slot then you can go directly at Cathedral Junction to redeem all your passes for this experience and ride the tram. This is the first and last station for the trip but you can hop on and hop off at any station. We didn’t get to use the Gondola ticket as it was suspended due to high winds when we got there but at least we got refunded for the gondola tickets! I just opened a chat here in klook and was able to report the concern with a support analyst.

Punting was the best part but timeslot needs to be booked in advance - note departures are from Antigua boatsheds near Botanic Gardens (not city centre, few minutes walk from nearest tram stop). Antique trams are special and a great way to get around, but not very frequent so be sure to leave enough time to get from A to B. Gondola had HUGE queue so wasted nearly an hour waiting here; it is also far outside the city centre (note: shuttle bus is not free) and a bit underwhelming - probably better if you go early and plan ahead on how to get there.

Must do in Christchurch! Gondola will get you a stunning view of city, harbour and mountains. Riding the old historic tram around the city and punting on the Avon will get you another experience of the city. Truly recommended.
