Suwon Hwaseong Fortress Night View Historical Experience

Our guide, Yu-san, spoke excellent Japanese, which was a huge help for me since I only speak Japanese. Yu-san, being from Suwon, shared detailed and enjoyable stories about Hwaseong Fortress, including interesting trivia, making our two-hour tour very fulfilling. If I have the chance to visit Suwon again, I would definitely ask Yu-san to be my guide and learn more from them. Please note that you will be walking continuously for two hours, albeit at a leisurely pace, so we recommend wearing sneakers or comfortable shoes.

Thanks to the delightful guidance of Yu-san, also known as Tama-chan, two hours flew by in an instant. At the end, she accompanied us by bus to Hwaseomun Gate, where we were able to enjoy a projection mapping show. This was my second visit to Hwaseong Fortress, but Yu-san showed us places I hadn't noticed before, and areas I would never have ventured into without her guidance, making it a very meaningful experience. If I have the chance, I would definitely love to have her guide us again. Thank you, Yu-san.

I booked this tour with my friend's family from Australia, and it ended up being one of the best parts of their trip. Even though I'm from Suwon, I learned so many new things from our local guide. The stories were interesting, fun, and made me see my own city in a completely different way. Walking along the fortress at sunset and then seeing the beautiful night views was something I won't forget. It was peaceful, beautiful, and really special. My Australian friends kept saying they liked Suwon even more than Seoul! That made me so happy. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Korea.
