Activity Introduction
- Tea Picking and Production Experience An experience activity for picking tea and making green tea: tea picking, stir-frying to fix the green, rolling the tea, drying, and then drinking the tea. Each participant can take home a packet of green tea (approximately 30g).
- Tea Cake Pressing Experience Weighing the tea, bagging, steaming to soften, shaping, pressing into a cake, unbagging, and drying. Each participant can take home a packet of green tea (approximately 30g).
- The tea garden is open all year round. The tea picking experience is available from April to November each year; the tea cake pressing experience is available all year round.

Fresh leaves are brought back to the tea workshop, spread evenly on bamboo sieves, and air-dried in a cool, ventilated place to remove surface moisture, preparing them for 'kill green' (sha qing).
Stir-fry in a hot iron pot (approx. 180℃) to lock in freshness and color, remove astringency; wear gloves and knead while hot to extract tea juice and form into strips; slow-fry over low heat until completely dry, resulting in a rich aroma.
Brew homemade tea, compare and taste; you can handwrite tea names, package tea cakes, and take away your exclusive handmade tea.

We had a fantastic morning at a family-owned tea plantation, where we were warmly welcomed by the host, 兰姐. Our guide, 香姐, was incredibly patient as she taught us the art of picking tea leaves. We even got to experience the process of drying and kneading the leaves afterwards. The entire experience was both educational and enjoyable. I highly recommend this activity! location:
