We booked the 9AM and was emailed a day or so later whether we’d like to change it to 3PM as it was high season (summer) and the place will be absolutely crowded with tourists, both individuals and tour groups. We were worried about the lack of sun, but was assured it’d still be shining if it wouldn’t be rainy that day. Unfortunately it was rainy and cloudy so our pictures weren’t the best, but the tour itself is amazing! We’re so glad we changed it to 3PM We were given a phone number of our tour guide, Marina and we could whatsapp her. We got picked up in our hotel as previously agreed in a big van with a nice driver. Marina was such an amazing guide! She told us a lot of things about st peters on the way to the palace. She had some facts to tell about everything we passed by during the drive, so she really knows a lot about st peters itself. We got invested in the royal family too and she explained it to us very well! I will forever remember the things she’d told us about the history of the family! She was also kind enough to offer us to text her in case we need some help or directions around st peters through whatsapp! Honestly one of the nicest people we came across in our trip haha I definitely recommend this, as you can always ask questions and have them answered too and getting driven to and from peterhof straight to your hotel again is very nice haha
