Reviews
This wildlife Kayaking was truly one of the best experiences of my life! Witnessing Hector dolphins, blue penguins, and seals in their natural habitat was breathtaking. Our guide Bradley was not only knowledgeable but also incredibly funny and kind. He went above and beyond, even capturing memorable moments with his camera. Thank you to the whole team for providing us with this unforgettable lifetime experience. - Zsuzsanna
very awesome experience. rosie was such a good guide! we saw seals and though the weather was cloudy to begin with it cleared up later!
highly recommended!!!! the coach was very friendly and caring, also suitable for first-time player!!
It’s so interesting. It was winter and it was raining again. I thought I couldn’t play anymore. Thanks to the company’s clear explanation that the weather will not affect the activities because of the unique advantages of the island, I can get close to the fur seals with my own eyes. If you want to meet more Multi-creatures, must choose summer
Got up close with the fur seal colony in Kaikoura, saw >15 black petrels in the water and some even within a metre from us! The guides were really professional and big props to Emma for keeping our groups safe despite the swell. Biggest icing on the cake was seeing the juvenile humpback on 1 Oct when migration season should have concluded. Amazing luck and experience given our whale watching cruise was cancelled due to weather the day before!
Emma was so hospitable and friendly, really patient and beginner friendly! Felt safe and taken care of throughout (even though I can’t swim) Caught many sights of seals on land and jumping in water + birds catching fishes right next to our kayaks. Waterproof jackets and shoes are provided
The instructor is very serious and the equipment is much more professional than when I was canoeing in Taiwan. There are water-repellent clothing that you can wear without having to worry about getting wet.
Guides gave clear instructions and shared information about te seal population. we felt safe kayaking in open sea and spotted dolphins, jellyfish and seals.
really fun experience with the family with older kids. Even though the season wasn’t right for Dolphins or penguins (mid/late Dec), kayaking near the seals was still awesome. Highly recommended for anyone that doesn’t have issues with arm/shoulder/back issues. Our guides were super helpful, friendly and professional and the time we went was great as we were in a tour of about 12, whereas if you went later in the month or in the month of Jan, some tours would be up to 24 people so it still felt quite small and personal.
It was a fulfilling kayak experience as we had dusky dolphins swimming under us. Even though we signed up for seal kayaking experience, our guide Cam was kind to help us take pictures and get nearer to the dolphins. Spotting the dolphins were the highlight! :)
