- Prohibited groups for rafting: Children: Children under 1.2 meters in height are strictly prohibited from rafting. Elderly: Males aged 60 and above, and females aged 55 and above are prohibited. Pregnant women: All pregnant women are prohibited from participating.
- Not recommended / Prohibited: expensive jewelry, watches, glasses (easily lost), ordinary phone cases, plastic bags (prone to leakage), slippers, high heels, leather shoes, large amounts of cash, valuables.
- Driver (communicate in English using translation software or WeChat translation).
- Both Chinese and English tour guides accompany visitors throughout the scenic area.
- For foreign tourists without a Chinese mainland mobile phone number, please contact customer service one day before departure and provide a screenshot of your WeChat QR code. Other contact methods are temporarily not supported.
- The driver will communicate with you using translation software or WeChat Translate. Please note that the driver serves as both driver and guide, but cannot accompany you on sightseeing tours or provide guided services. We will inform you of your itinerary and pick-up locations via WeChat. Thank you for your understanding.
- Not suitable for participation due to health conditions: heart disease, coronary heart disease, arrhythmia, high blood pressure, cerebrovascular disease, mental illness, epilepsy, depression, fractures, bone hyperplasia, lumbar disc herniation, cervical spondylosis, severe respiratory diseases such as asthma and emphysema, motion sickness, severe acrophobia, balance disorders, and other medical conditions explicitly advised by doctors as unsuitable for strenuous exercise.
- Eligible participants and requirements: Children: Over 1.2 meters tall, purchase adult tickets, and must be accompanied by an adult. Adults: Males under 60 years old, females under 55 years old, in good health. Seniors: Males under 59 years old / females under 54 years old, without the aforementioned diseases.
- The scenic area strictly verifies height and age, measuring on-site or checking identification. Concealing medical history, age, or height will result in personal responsibility for any consequences. Rafting is a high-intensity extreme sport; please truthfully assess your physical condition.
Attraction information
- Rafting season: Mid-April to late October (only open for half a year). Daily rafting hours: Weekdays (Monday to Friday): 13:00 to 15:00. Gulong Gorge Scenic Area Weekends / Holidays: 12:00 to 15:00. Important reminder: Ticket collection deadline: Tickets must be exchanged and entered by 15:00; rafting will stop if overdue.

What to bring
- Change of clothes / Sunscreen / Sunglasses / Swimwear / Toiletries / Towel / Valid ID / Passport (with 6 months validity)
- Essential items: a change of clothes (a full set: top and bottom + underwear), towel / disposable bath towel, non-slip sandals / river tracing shoes (slippers and strapless sandals are prohibited as they can be easily washed away), waterproof phone pouch (test its seal in advance), swimsuit / quick-drying clothing (not afraid of getting wet).
- Suggested items to bring: water dipper / water gun (water fight essential), small waterproof bag (for keys, documents), sunscreen (for face and neck), small snacks / bottled water (to replenish energy), simple toiletries (for showering after rafting), mosquito repellent as there are many mosquitoes in the mountains.
