Tokyo: Make Your Own Chopsticks Shibuya

Today, I participated in a DIY chopsticks workshop, and the entire experience was truly beyond my expectations! The instructor was incredibly professional and patient, guiding us meticulously through every step, from selecting the wood and shaping it, to sanding, engraving, and oiling. Even for someone like me who rarely does crafts, following the instructor's guidance made it easy to pick up. The whole process was very therapeutic and incredibly rewarding. Making a unique pair of chopsticks with my own hands was fantastic; they feel and look great. The workshop environment was comfortable, and the atmosphere was very relaxing, making it perfect for friends, couples, or families. I genuinely recommend it to everyone, and I'll definitely bring friends back for another experience next time! Full marks!

So much fun!! Maul was the perfect teacher for our ChopStick class! It was so cool to carve, sand, engrave and finish our own chopsticks. I loved that they had different wood options available for purchase and other upgrades you can add on as well! they will even make souvenirs for you! highly recommend

such a wonderful experience for our family with this activity being a break from all the shopping, food, walking and heat/rain. we really enjoyed the informative, interactive and fun workshop. after choosing the wood type (cost extra $ by the way), we were on our way to chopstick making! great memory to share as a family and a souvenir to remind us of this time.

Great experience with super friendly staff. They made us feel welcome from the start to end and gave us so many recommendations for our trip, so glad we came here at the start of our trip. The location was easy to find and they had such a nice variety of different woods. We also added engraving for a personal touch. Would highly recommend!

Absolutely recommended. All the staff are incredibly kind and friendly, and they offer excellent recommendations on what to do in Shibuya before or after the workshop. They also have a very good selection of woods and tools. I highly recommend visiting this place as part of a Shibuya tour.

Everyone was so nice and helpful through the whole process. They were very patient as I took on the task of making 5 sets of chopsticks (not easy) and I had a great time talking with the staff. I can’t recommend this activity enough.
