Gangchon Rail Bike Ticket(Gimyujeong Station)

overall a fun experience for th whole family. the cycling part was pretty effortless as there were only maybe 2 gentle inclines. good to do once but doubt I’ll do again as it’s more for tourists and not for locals to exercise. 😂

I had such a great time at the Gangnam Rail Bike! The ride was smooth, relaxing, and gave me a chance to enjoy the scenery in a really unique way. It’s the perfect mix of fun and leisure — pedaling along the tracks while chatting and laughing with friends. The staff were friendly and helpful, and everything felt well-organized. Highly recommend this activity if you’re looking for something different to do in Seoul. Great for couples, families, or just a fun outing with friends!

We booked our rail bike tickets on Klook in advance, which not only saved time but also gave us peace of mind. After arriving at the activity entrance, we simply presented the QR code provided by Klook at the ticket window to exchange for paper tickets, and we were able to ride easily. How lucky! We booked the 12:00 PM session that day, and we arrived early at 11:00 AM by taking the KTX train from Seoul. The ticket staff saw that there were still vacancies at the time, so they let us enter an hour early. The rail bikes are suitable for tourists of all ages, and pedaling is not strenuous. Along the way, we passed through four tunnels with different themes, and the scenery was beautiful. We were able to enjoy the scenery of the mountains and rivers, as well as catch a glimpse of the rural life in Korea. This trip was relaxing and full of surprises, definitely worth a visit!

Gangchon rail bike was an amazing experience. I was glad I booked on klook rather then buying on site as there were limited tickets for the time that I chose. You have to show the voucher at the counter to get a physical ticket.

The Gangchon railbike is a really fun experience. Going through all the themed musical tunnels combined with views of farms and the river beside you makes for an interesting activity. it was well organised, clear where to go, staff spoke English to instruct us about the railbike. after the rail bike, you jump on the romance train for a short but beautiful ride next to the river to your end point. snacks to purchase at the end point and opportunity to purchase a photo on the railbike for 8000 won for paper frame or 15000 won for glass frame.

Had such a fun time at Gangchon Rail Bike! 🚴‍♀️ The views along the way were beautiful and the ride itself was super relaxing. It’s a great activity to enjoy with friends or family — definitely worth the visit if you’re around the area! The bike were safe. Before you proceed to your destination the instructor will instruct you first.

we headed there as i saw it on youtube and figured it would be a great bonding time for me and my mum. we went there when the weather was still pretty cool at around 10 plus degrees but it was so tiring having to ride the rail bike. nevertheless, there are interesting tunnels awaiting you with different themes and when you reach the rest point, you can take a shuttle train back to the metro station.

We highly recommend this experience. We loved the rail bike experience. We had a lot of fun. My 3y/o daughter enjoyed it a lot. The view along the rail was enjoyable. There’s 4 tunnels you’ll get to ride through with 4 different themes. We went to the wrong station at first and had to rush to Gimyujeong, fortunately we made it at 5.28pm. Please make sure you don’t do the same mistake as we did.

We had a great time despite the freezing -15°C weather, taking in the stunning views along the way. The tunnels were incredible, each creating a unique atmosphere. At the end of the trail, delicious food awaits! The romantic train takes you to the other side, and a free shuttle bus is available to bring you back to the station. Be sure to eat a good breakfast or lunch beforehand—you’ll need the energy for cycling.

took the 2-seater, great experience for enjoying the view. the ride quite far for us, theres few checkpoint that the railbike will automatically move without paddle it, and some of it we need to paddle it by ourself. after ride, there will be one checkpoint for us to have some snacks/ claim photos at the counter while waiting for the romantic train to arrived. ended the journey by boarding the romantic train & bring us heading to nearby bus station.
