What to expect
Feast for a thousand years, dreaming back to Luoyang, seeking the earliest China. As night falls, the lights of Luoyang city gradually illuminate, and a “Palace Feast Secret Realm” hidden in the heart of the ancient capital slowly unveils its curtain. This is not a museum, yet you can feel the lingering warmth of Eastern Zhou bronzes; this is not a stage, yet you can personally experience the “Rainbow Feather Dress” of the prosperous Tang Dynasty – this is Luoyang Palace Feast, a historical and cultural interpretive restaurant that brews the thousand-year-old culture of Luoyang into delicacies and transforms it into a grand feast. Push open the door, and the wind of the prosperous Tang Dynasty greets you. Vermilion pillars are adorned with gilded patterns, light gauze curtains sway with the breeze, and maidservants in ruqun dresses lead the way with lamps, a soft and sweet “Welcome, esteemed guest” instantly transports one back to the magnificent scene of “the Son of Heaven’s three imperial gates, and the feudal lords’ nine heavens.” There’s no need to deliberately search for history; the blue bricks underfoot are fired to mimic the ruins of the Sui and Tang cities, the murals on the walls replicate the flying Apsaras of the Longmen Grottoes, and even the tableware draws inspiration from the artifacts in the Luoyang Museum. Every detail tells the story of the ancient capital’s past.
