What to expect
This is a special program offered twice a month by Yuzuri, a popular Japanese restaurant in Abashiri. Watch owner Saito, who has served as head chef at hotels in Abashiri, a town known for its food, for many years, cook dishes using Abashiri seafood, and learn the tricks of Japanese cuisine. Please enjoy the superb knife skills and exquisite cooking. After learning about the differences in how to prepare fish depending on the type and season, as well as tips and how to use seasonings that are unique to professionals, you can experience making your own salmon roe marinated in soy sauce (or oyster marinated in oil, depending on the season). You can also enjoy Yuzuri's signature Japanese cuisine. This is a fulfilling program.
