Okinawa: Naminoue Shrine & Cape Zanpa Lighthouse & American Village & Southeast Botanical Gardens Illumination Show Day Trip (Departure at Noon)

The itinerary was very smooth, the driving distances between attractions were not far, and the time was appropriately arranged. If you don't have to queue to buy amulets at Naminoue Shrine, you can walk 10 minutes to the bridge across the street to take pictures of Naminoue Shrine on the cliff. It's worth climbing the 99 steps up to Cape Zanpa Lighthouse. The Okinawan blue scenery is really beautiful. After coming down, you can have ice cream at the Ice Cream Bus, and there are public restrooms next to it where you can wash your hands and use the toilet. The dinner time at American Village was also just right. You can walk along the beach and wait for the sunset. After eating, there's still time to stroll around the AVON shopping center across from the parking lot. If you bought a ticket with a voucher for Southeast Botanical Gardens, you need to line up at the ticket office to scan the QR code before entering the garden. You can see that there are many animal areas during the day, but when we went at night, the fences were all empty, and the entire park became a different world. The lighting is really well done, and the entire park has many different themes, making it rich and photogenic. It was a great day trip, and very convenient for travelers without a car. Highly recommended!

I was worried about transportation to the Southeast Botanical Gardens illumination, but then I saw this tour! I signed up right away. The bus was super cute, I recognized it immediately, and I was surprised to receive a very beautiful bus badge!! The bus interior also had free Wi-Fi and an included audio guide. Standing in line to buy charms at Naminoue Shrine unexpectedly took up quite a bit of time! Stopping at American Village for 2 hours to eat something and browse a little was plenty of time, and I especially added on a visit to the Southeast's eco-light botanical forest area, which was very beautiful! Very amazing!

The weather was great today, so everything went smoothly. There was no tour guide on the bus; the driver would hold up a sign at each stop to indicate the departure time. We returned to the meeting point promptly at 9 PM.

Overall, it's very convenient. It's a bus that allows you to wake up a bit later, and I would recommend it to others! The boarding location is right in front of the Naha Prefectural Office, and there's also a Blue Seal ice cream shop, making it very easy to find. Plus, the bus is so cute! I saw passersby taking pictures of it too. Then, to get to the various attractions, you don't need to remember the bus number; you can easily see the bus in each parking lot at a glance. Not having a tour guide is a complete plus for me. I can look up the information I want to know myself, and there are also many introductions to see at the attractions (the bus also provides audio guidance). When parking, the driver puts out a sign with the departure time. You'll receive a small bus badge when boarding, which is a very special souvenir.

The itinerary is well-planned, with ample time. It's suitable for travelers who are not driving themselves.

We loved this tour! They literally take you everywhere, and you have free time at each stop, so you can explore whatever you like. We absolutely loved it. Everyone was very friendly.

This Okinawa Central Day Tour departs in the afternoon, allowing you to have a good rest before sightseeing. The meeting point is in front of the Prefectural Office, which is easy to find. After roll call and boarding, the driver will give out small gifts, which is very thoughtful! The driver's driving skills are good, and the car is clean and comfortable. Along the way, we visited Naminoue Shrine, Cape Zanpa, American Village, and Southeast Botanical Gardens. After visiting Naminoue Shrine, you can take photos and see the scenery at the nearby beach. In American Village, you can watch the sunset by the sea or visit the nearby Aeon shopping mall. The only pity was that it was cloudy and rainy that day, and the Cape Zanpa lighthouse was not open, so we couldn't climb to the top to see the view. The illuminated show at Southeast Botanical Gardens is beautiful and worth a visit.

The first stop was Naminoue Shrine, where we stopped near the beach. It's a 5-minute walk to Naminoue Shrine, and there are restrooms 🚾 along the way. American Village is very beautiful; travelers who are not driving themselves may want to consider taking this tour. Finally, we visited the Southeast Botanical Gardens. Entering the botanical gardens for a night tour felt amazing. The gardens are well-maintained. The only downside is that there was a slight animal odor in some areas. We returned to the Kencho Kitaguchi bus stop at around 10 PM.
