Afternoon Tea at The O.S.S by Jim Thompson

When I visited the Jim Thompson House, I stopped by the restaurant on the premises. I was lucky to get a reservation for 30 minutes later that day. My companion and I shared one pint set, and the food was delicious with thorough explanations. I chose oolong tea, which had a wonderful aroma and was also a favorite. The atmosphere was calm, the staff were incredibly attentive, and it's a place I'd love to visit again.

This was my first visit to Jim Thompson House, and I booked it knowing I could also enjoy afternoon tea. We went on a Sunday and were pleasantly surprised to have the place to ourselves, allowing us to relax. The staff were very kind and explained the menu thoroughly. The atmosphere of the establishment was also wonderful. We were grateful for the cart ride back to the BTS station. While the portions aren't large, it's perfect for a light afternoon tea. The complimentary snacks were so delicious I wanted to buy some, but it seems they aren't for sale. It turns into a bar at night, and I'd love to experience it in the evening as well.

We had a reservation for 12:45 PM. This was perfect timing because the Japanese tour of Jim Thompson House started at 11:30 AM. The staff were kind and provided excellent service. We ordered the Pinto Set (for 1-2 people); the portion was a bit small, but it was just right for a leisurely meal while enjoying the pond view and chatting.

price: rather expensive thand offered. the fragrance of perfume was too much, especially on the sofa.
