Good to know

[Note] August 9, 2025 - August 17, 2025 is a Japanese holiday. (June 19 // August 21 / September 18 / October 16 / November 20) On the third Thursday of each month in 2026, the small train will not run, and instead, we will visit Kamishikimi Kumanoza Shrine. From December 1st to February 28th, the small train tour will be adjusted to visit Kamishikimi Kumanoza Shrine; at other times, we will proceed to the small train experience as usual.

The drive to Takachiho is quite long, so you may want to bring some snacks. Walking is required in the gorge, so please wear comfortable shoes. Notification before departure • Please ensure that the communication app you have reserved can contact you during your trip to Japan. We will contact you one day in advance. We will send the vehicle and guide information for the next day’s departure to your email before 8:00 PM the day before departure. Please check it carefully (it may be in the junk box). To ensure a smooth trip, be sure to contact your guide or driver in a timely manner. Thank you. • If the number of participants does not reach the minimum number required for the tour, you will be notified of cancellation by email one day before departure. In the event of extreme weather conditions such as typhoons or heavy snow, we will confirm whether to cancel by 6:00 PM local time the day before departure and notify you by email. Seats and vehicles • The tour is a shared tour, and seat allocation follows the first-come, first-served principle. If you have any special requests, please make a note, and we will do our best to arrange it, but the final arrangement will be based on the situation on site. • The type of vehicle used will be arranged according to the number of people, and the type of vehicle cannot be specified. When there are few people, a driver may be arranged to serve as an attendant, and the explanation will be relatively brief. • If you need to bring luggage, you must inform us in advance. If you bring luggage without permission, the guide has the right to refuse boarding and the fee will not be refunded. Eating and drinking are prohibited in the car. If damage is caused, compensation will be required according to local standards. Itinerary adjustments and safety • Japanese law stipulates that operating vehicles must not be driven for more than 10 hours per day. If the time is exceeded, additional fees will be charged (5,000–10,000 yen/hour, etc.). • The itinerary is for reference only. Actual traffic, stopover, and sightseeing times may be adjusted due to weather, traffic jams, facility maintenance, etc. The guide may reasonably replace or reduce attractions depending on the actual situation. • If cable cars, cruise ships, and other facilities are suspended due to weather or force majeure, they will be changed to other sightseeing spots or the length of stay will be adjusted. • Fees will not be refunded for lateness due to personal reasons, temporary changes to the meeting place, or leaving the group midway. You will be responsible for any accidents and additional expenses incurred after leaving the group. Seasons and landscapes

• Seasonal limited events such as flower viewing, autumn foliage viewing, snow scenery, and fireworks festivals are greatly affected by the climate, and the peak flowering period and autumn foliage season may be advanced or delayed. Even if the expected scenery is not reached, the itinerary will still depart as usual and no refunds will be given. • During Japanese red holidays and weekend peak travel times, there are often serious traffic jams or attractions close early. It is recommended not to book flights, Shinkansen, or dinners for that evening, and to bring your own light snacks and a power bank. Other notes • Please arrive at the meeting place on time. We will not wait for those who are late, and you cannot join midway. • It is recommended to wear light clothing and shoes. Please bring warm clothing for winter or mountain itineraries. • The itinerary does not include personal travel and accident insurance. It is recommended that you purchase insurance on your own. Outdoor activities and high-risk sports have certain risks. Please sign up carefully according to your health condition. • After the itinerary departs, if it is forced to be terminated due to natural disasters or force majeure, the fee will not be refunded, and passengers will have to bear the cost of returning or additional accommodation themselves.
