8-Day Xinjiang Shuanghu Autumn Tour

A little over a week passed quickly. It was my first time in Northern Xinjiang, and the route included Urumqi - Altay - Kanas - Hemu - Sayram Lake. The pick-up and drop-off service was very thorough, and the accommodation arrangements were also satisfactory. Many thanks to Master Guo Jing! He is very familiar with the routes between scenic spots and cities, his driving skills are very stable, and he also reminds us to pay attention to the scenery and animals. He thoughtfully prepared snacks, yogurt, and hot water. The 7-seater car is also very comfortable, and the heated and massage seats are great for winter travel! The master's aerial photography results are also amazing! He also took care of me, traveling alone with the group, haha~ I will definitely come to Xinjiang again!

The trip was excellent with a well-planned itinerary that was both relaxing and enjoyable. Special thanks were given to the assistant for detailed explanations and to the guide/driver/photographer, Xiao Ma, for his professional, thoughtful, and caring service throughout. However, the pre-arranged transfer on the first day was highly inefficient. My original hotel and the pre-booked tour hotel were only about 20 steps apart. Instead of simply directing me to walk over, I was made to wait for 30 minutes for a guide to escort me that short distance. Furthermore, the tour hotel, "Secret [Something]" (advertised as 4-star), operated more like a 2-star property. Smoking was pervasive in the lobby, and my room had a severe privacy issue: the window opened onto an internal corridor that, despite supposedly being locked, was accessible to strangers who peered into my room. Also, do check if you need to pay for Rmb 2k/pax as deposit and rmb 280/pax for clothing/helmet/gloves including turtles

An unforgettable Xinjiang trip. This 8-day trip to Northern Xinjiang included thoughtful airport pick-up and drop-off arranged by the travel agency. The entire itinerary was well-organized, covering attractions such as Altay - Hemu (Ahe Highway) - Kanas - Karamay - Sayram Lake, and more. The seven-seater vehicle was comfortable, reducing the fatigue of long journeys. The accommodations for this tour were also upgraded, with satisfactory hotels and room types. Many thanks to our Uyghur driver, Abdu, whose driving skills were very steady and who also took great care of us girls.

This trip was very enjoyable. Although there was a wide age range in our group, everyone got along remarkably well. The itinerary was also well-planned and not too tiring. The hotels were all mid-to-high end with excellent hygiene. Our driver, Shen Kequan, also acted as our guide. He was quietly efficient and didn't talk too much. My mother is elderly and not very mobile, and he helped her with her luggage throughout the trip, which greatly added to the positive experience.

The scenery was beautiful, the itinerary was well-planned, and there were no hidden fees. The accommodations were all arranged perfectly, with all amenities provided. Our driver, Master Liu Jia, was an excellent driver; we didn't feel carsick even on mountain roads. He was punctual throughout the trip, and the car was clean and tidy. He even provided water, yogurt, and snacks in the car, and we had plenty of time to explore each attraction. Overall, it was a very comfortable and pleasant experience.

As a foreign traveler, this tour gave me a truly memorable and worthwhile experience — absolutely worth every penny. It was the perfect combination of stunning scenery and meaningful hands-on activities. The tour manager was incredibly warm, supportive, and always ready to help with any difficulties. The driver was also very professional, kind, and especially caring toward foreign guests like me. I truly appreciated the private car pick-up and drop-off anywhere in Urumqi, which made everything so convenient. Throughout the journey, even though I joined alone, I never felt lonely — everyone was friendly and genuinely helpful to a foreigner like me. I was able to take many beautiful photos and videos as unforgettable memories. Thank you so much to the tour manager and everyone involved. Tour Guide: The driver and guide, Seer, was excellent! He took great care of us throughout the entire trip! Very easy to communicate with! Overall, the itinerary was very well arranged!\nAttractions: The chosen attractions were all quite classic, but it would be better if 1-2 more could be added!\nAccommodation Choice: Mostly 4-5 star hotels, except for one day in a log cabin which was a bit rough, but the rest were pretty good.
