Although there are more than 70 species of whales in the world, only 12 species can be made into caviar. It is known as the “living fossil in the water” and its history can be traced back to 250 million years ago. Among them, Beluga, Oscietra and Sevruga are particularly precious, especially Beluga, which ranks first in the world’s caviar. Today, wild whales have been included in the protection list of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES). Fishing is strictly prohibited and this treasure can only be obtained through artificial breeding. The combination of whiskey and Iberian black pig ham (Jamón Ibérico) brings a double enjoyment of rich sweetness and fragrance.
