What to expect
This is a one-day Noboribetsu itinerary starting from Sapporo, with a smooth route that avoids backtracking. In one day, you can leisurely experience lake views, a ranch, volcanic landscapes, and a hot spring town. In the morning, gather and depart from Sapporo city center; you can board at JR Sapporo Station or Odori Park. You'll arrive back in the evening, so the day's itinerary won't be too rushed and won't affect your evening plans. 🚌
Along the way, you'll pass through the Lake Toya area and stop at an observation deck, where you can overlook the lake and surrounding natural scenery. The standard route includes Kyogoku Spring Water Park, where the spring water is clear, and on a clear day, you can see a distant view of Mount Yotei, making for a refreshing experience and good photo opportunities 📸. In winter (starting November 10), the route adjusts to a snowy landscape, and on some dates, you can experience snowmobiling (at your own expense), creating a more distinct winter Hokkaido atmosphere. ❄️
Midway, there's a stop at Lake Hill Farm. The ranch environment is open and the pace is slow, making it suitable for a leisurely stroll, taking photos, and providing a relaxing buffer for the trip. Afterward, you'll head to Showa Shinzan Bear Park (admission not included), where you can see brown bears up close, a popular spot for many first-time visitors to Hokkaido. 🌿
In the afternoon, you'll enter the Noboribetsu area. Jigokudani (Hell Valley) is a representative landscape on the itinerary, with its volcanic terrain and rising white steam being highly recognizable. Hey Mila!! Thank you!!!!! First of all, thank you so much Mila. Thanks to Mila, I had a fun and comfortable trip to a great travel destination!! I've been to Japan more than 15 times so far, and all I've ever done is eat, see, and buy things. My friend and I wanted to experience an activity, so we booked a unique trip through Klook and applied for a tour under Mila's guidance and went for a day. Actually, I hesitated because they only spoke English & Chinese, but I applied because I wanted to ride a snowmobile in a cool way. Sure enough, there were only me and my friend, two Koreans, on the tour lol. But I really enjoyed it. Everyone should definitely ride a snowmobile at least once, the thrill is amazing. It was nice that Mila kept asking me kindly if I had eaten and if I had enjoyed watching it. I'm sorry that the two guys didn't listen to me and kept looking for smoking areas and running around, which made Mila anxious. Mila, you will be blessed. You took pictures and treated me kindly and led me to the end. Even if you don't speak Korean, she will explain everything slowly in English. If other people come, Biei tour is good, but you should go to Noboribetsu. It's good to just look around and it's good to experience activities. Mila!! Arigato!!!

I really enjoyed this tour especially the snowmobiling. Our tour guide Tracy is very knowledgeable and friendly, she did some games to entertain us and keeps telling us some facts about the locations in the tour. The interval in the locations is a bit tight but it was understandable because the locations are far away to each other. Highly recommend!
The bus tour was very efficient. We were worried that it was a first come first served seating since we were boarding on the second meet-up location. Thankfully our tour guide arranged the seating accordingly.

1. The natural scenery in Noboribetsu is absolutely breathtaking! The magnificent volcanoes and clear hot springs are incredibly refreshing. 2. Today's trip to Noboribetsu included indulging in a steaming hot spring, truly the best way to relax and rejuvenate! 3. Noboribetsu's Hell Valley is amazing; its unique terrain and steaming vents made me feel the power of nature. 4. I especially enjoyed tasting the local cuisine in Noboribetsu. The fresh seafood and onsen tamago (hot spring eggs) were incredibly delicious and left a lasting impression! 5. The air in Noboribetsu is fresh, and the trails along the way are perfect for strolling, allowing me to experience the charm of nature. 6. The local residents are warm and friendly, making our trip even more enjoyable. I really hope to visit again! 7. The days in Noboribetsu went by too quickly. Both the attractions and the food filled me with wonderful memories!
We booked the noboribetsu jigokudani tour day , and we had a great experience with Liu Lu (Max) , she really knows about the spots we have gone since she 's been doing a master degree in geology in hokkaido university . I truly recommend this tour . It was amazing, truly recommend it !!!
I really have to commend our tour guide, Xiaoyu, for this trip. I felt very comfortable throughout the whole journey. The itinerary was arranged very reasonably, not rushed or chaotic at all. Following the schedule wasn't tiring at all. Xiaoyu's explanations weren't stiff or boring. He interspersed history, stories, and local anecdotes, making it very interesting to listen to, and I unconsciously learned a lot. He also took great care of everyone, whether it was for meeting times, meals, or any small temporary issues. He would help solve them immediately, which made me feel very secure. The overall experience was really good, and the atmosphere was relaxed. He's the kind of tour guide that makes you want to follow him again next time.
