if you have time and havent experienced a Chinese cultural performance and hotpot, then consider this while at Lijiang. Within an hour, youget to enjoy food and watch some singing and dancing. the games beforehand were fun to play - you might win something! the location is a bit far from the old town..
It was a fantastic experience! Although it's a bit of a distance from the ancient town, taking a Didi (ride-sharing service) made it very convenient to get there. Upon arrival, we changed into traditional attire to experience ancient clothing. During dinner, we enjoyed a performance, and staff members also came by to ask if we needed more dishes. I highly recommend everyone come and experience it!
Decent local cuisines served in emperor banquet style. Fascinating lightings and beautiful dancing performances. the Location is quite secluded, which is at the Dongba valley, about 30 mins from the town but overall still worth a visit. Recommended! (non halal)
The dining time felt a bit rushed, we had only about an hour to finish our meal while watching the performance. That said, the show itself was enjoyable
Not a bad experience, recommend to go earlier so that you can play the activities before changing into the costumes.
Show was well put up with the various dance items. service was good. Food was simple hot pot but is enuff.
A great experience, with hundreds of people eating hot pot and watching a show together.
The food was delicious, and the performance was great. Excellent value for the price. Just a bit far from Lijiang Old Town.
The food was just okay, and the performance was a bit basic, but the venue was beautiful. Overall, it felt more like an itinerary designed for tour groups.
The place generally looks nice, however the outside has limited photo taking places. the costumes available was limited as well, and no option for makeup/ hair. The food was hotpot style and the performance was pretty nice, however it came as a shock as the performance ended in one hour (6.30-7.30pm) and we were left trying to quickly finish our food as the staff were all keeping the dishes. If you’ve been 宫宴, then definitely this would fall short of expectations, which is expected due to the differing price point.
