Reviews
Had a wonderful experience visiting the Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park, Blue Mountains, Leura Village, and Echo Point with our friendly tour guide, Mr. Hyun Jin! He was very dedicated and ensured everything ran smoothly according to schedule. Despite the rain throughout the day, he went the extra mile to make sure our trip is special. He was also very helpful—whenever you asked anything, he would always provide the best answer. Even though I understand a little Korean, he still made sure that my friend and I fully enjoyed the tour as well. We could clearly see that he is a very committed tour guide and knowledgeable about the places and their history. Not to forget he recommended a wide range of great restaurants for us to choose from. Finally, despite the cloudy weather and a bit of drizzle, he still managed to bring us to his secret spot for stargazing near Wentworth Falls, which turned out to be an unforgettable experience. 감사합니다!
My mother and I, as non-Korean tourists, still had a perfect travel experience that completely exceeded our expectations. Our guide, Kelvin Sung, was very responsible and could communicate in English. He told interesting stories in the car, actively helped us take photos in the evening, and went above and beyond to find stars, so much so that our stargazing time even exceeded what we anticipated. We first went to Featherdale Wildlife Park at noon, where we had plenty of time to explore. This zoo was very interactive; I fed different types of kangaroos, sheep, and other animals, and even touched many cute small animals. Later, we headed to the Blue Mountains. Our guide, Kelvin, cleverly designed the route to help us avoid crowds. We first enjoyed delicious ice cream in a village, then arrived at a scenic cliff where only our group was present, allowing us to enjoy the beautiful scenery. Next, we went to Echo Point, where we saw the beautiful Three Sisters peaks and the stunning sunset. Dinner time followed in a village with many food options, and Kelvin gave us many recommendations; the Vietnamese pho was excellent. Finally, the highlight of the day was stargazing. As soon as I got out of the car, I was awestruck by the sky full of stars. Our guide continuously introduced different constellations, explaining in detail what the different twinkling lights meant, which taught me a lot. He also actively helped us with photo composition. The luckiest part was that we even saw a meteor; it was the first time I had ever seen one in my life, and I was absolutely overjoyed. When the sky was blocked by clouds, he observed the sky and quickly drove to another location. After we arrived at the new spot, the stars reappeared. We lay on the ground looking at the sky, comfortably enjoying that wonderful moment, and also captured magnificent pictures of the Milky Way. The day's journey was very fulfilling and perfect, and the guide's itinerary planning was flawless. We were also very lucky. The guide was enthusiastic, always greeted us kindly, and was very knowledgeable, constantly sharing scientific facts in the car. He also drove very smoothly, and we didn't experience any dizziness. I only booked this Korean tour at 9 AM that morning, but it truly gave us a big surprise. Many thanks to our guide Kelvin and the travel agency; his itinerary was different from Chinese tour groups, but it gave us a very unique and perfect experience. (It was also great value for money.)
Thanks to our guide, Jayden, our Blue Mountains tour in Australia was absolutely perfect and incredibly enjoyable! Every part of the itinerary, from Featherdale Wildlife Park to the Three Sisters, and even watching the sunset and stargazing, was so enriching and moving. Since there weren't many people today, Jayden even added the charming town of Leura to our itinerary, which wasn't originally planned, and recommended many great restaurants! (Guide's pick 👍👍) Moreover, he passionately took so many amazing, once-in-a-lifetime photos for us at each spot; I've honestly never seen anyone take pictures so well. He's the best! Thanks to Jayden's wit and consideration throughout the tour, we had such a wonderful time that we didn't even feel tired. This created the most unforgettable and precious memory of our trip to Australia, and I highly recommend it to others!
The tour I participated in visited Featherdale Wildlife Park, then Katoomba, and finally the Blue Mountains. I thoroughly enjoyed every part of it, and it was incredibly fulfilling and fun! At the wildlife park, our guide provided explanations about the animals and useful information before we even arrived, which helped us appreciate it even more. When we went to Katoomba for dinner, they also gave us recommendations for great restaurants, including their signature dishes and unique characteristics, which was a huge help in choosing our meals! Thanks to that, we had a satisfying dinner and enjoyed a beautiful sunset and stargazing. Our guide, Kelvin, was so reassuring; he was worried that clouds might obscure the stars and constantly adjusted our itinerary to find the best viewing spots. The various historical stories and facts about Australia he shared during our travels were also fascinating, and his explanations about the stars during stargazing felt like an engaging science lesson. I initially joined the tour just to see animals and stars, but it turned out to be much more enriching and enjoyable than I expected, so I'm extremely satisfied! If you're visiting Sydney, I highly recommend this tour!!!!
After nine years of dating, we got married and came to Sydney for our honeymoon. We were worried about the rain and whether we'd be able to do any tours. But then, the weather cleared up perfectly, so we booked one! We had a great start, with good weather and good luck, as we were joined by Kelvin Seong, our 'Starry Night Keeper' guide! I was surprised by how pleasant his voice was when he first spoke, and he explained the 'why' behind things before diving into the details, which made it easy to understand. He really understood what tourists want, allowing us to explore the zoo without feeling rushed and pointing out great photo spots where we got many amazing shots. And the final highlight, stargazing, was incredibly beautiful and enchanting – it felt almost unreal! He gave us time to prepare for stargazing and created such a comfortable atmosphere that everyone, whether they came alone or with a group, could enjoy and socialize. I was able to relax and enjoy myself without a single worry! Thank you so much for all your hard work today. I'll keep your kind words in my heart and remember them whenever I need a boost!
Today, we went on the Blue Mountains Sunset + Stargazing Tour with our Starry Night Guide, Kelvin Seong. The departure time was 12:30 PM, so we made sure to have a hearty lunch before heading out. Dinner is around 5:30 PM, so it's probably best to eat moderately. In Australia, you can't eat or drink on the bus, so if you brought snacks, please hold off on them... The first thing our Starry Night Guide, Kelvin Seong, said when he saw our group was, "You won't be able to endure the cold in those clothes!" Of course, our group, having prepared our outfits based on the Sydney city weather, hadn't anticipated the weather and temperature in the Blue Mountains after sunset. Other groups were also unprepared. After much deliberation, the conclusion was to split our time so we could find warm clothing solutions before dinner, after visiting the zoo and Echo Point. Thanks to this, our team was able to enjoy the tour warmly today! Thank you so much! Featherdale Wildlife Park is small, but it has all the animals unique to Australia. Kangaroos and koalas are a given, plus wallabies, wombats, Tasmanian devils, and even adorable quokkas! At the entrance, a cup of animal feed is sold for $5, and we highly recommend buying at least one cup per team! When feeding the cute wallabies, if you hold your hand high, they'll hold onto your hand to eat, so keep that in mind. Then, at Blue Mountains Echo Point, you can see the Three Sisters and witness the spectacular scenery that explains why it's called the Blue Mountains. I must emphasize again that it gets really cold; the perceived temperature drops by more than 10 degrees Celsius compared to the city. You should definitely bring a hoodie and a warm jacket. Since the sunset and stargazing are the highlights of this tour, I sincerely hope no one comes all the way to Australia only to be too cold to enjoy the sights. The tour continues even after the sun sets! I recommend keeping your morning schedule free the next day so you can shower and get plenty of rest. Our guide, Kelvin Seong, has a great voice, like a radio DJ, so we enjoyed many interesting stories and gained information during the bus ride. And he takes really great photos too!
Hello, I'm from Korea. ^^ I had an unforgettable day with Calvin Sung, our guide, who has a truly wonderful voice. It was truly the best trip. His gentle voice was so captivating, I almost fell asleep – that's how great his voice is, haha. I've seen stars in Korea before, but I've never seen stars like these in 45 years. I wonder if I'm really this lucky, haha. My girlfriend also loved it, and I think she'll remember this as the best trip in Australia. It was truly enjoyable. The restaurant he recommended for dinner was also excellent. I had crocodile pizza, haha. Everything was truly wonderful. I felt that Calvin Sung, our guide, was very experienced and made us feel very comfortable. He shared stories about Australia while driving, and even shared information I didn't know via KakaoTalk. It seemed like he had done a lot of research for the tour. He also took such beautiful photos, so I'm leaving with wonderful memories. If I come back to Australia for another tour, I would love to meet Calvin Sung again. Thank you. haha.
Kelvin, you're the best guide I've ever had! I've been on many tours, but it's been a long time since I met a guide who was so detailed, attentive to each person, passionate, and meticulous. This tour truly warmed my heart. Thanks to your gentle voice and manner of explanation, it felt like I was listening to a radio show while on the tour, and it allowed me to gain a deep understanding of Australia. The way 22 strangers, initially awkward, ended up laughing and chatting together by the end, felt like a natural moment created by you, our guide. From Featherdale Wildlife Park to Leura Village, B-Mart, the Three Sisters in the Blue Mountains, a secret sunset spot, dinner, and a stargazing tour – I'm so grateful you provided such precious moments that were worth far more than the 60,000 won I paid. In particular, the sunset at the secret spot deep in the mountains will be remembered as an invaluable moment that photos could never capture. Guide Kelvin, you reminded us all that we are precious and shine brightly, just like the countless stars pouring down from the night sky. I feel a little guilty having such a wonderful memory of Sydney all to myself, so I'll be back soon with my children. I look forward to seeing you again then!
Thanks to Kelvin Sung's detailed explanations, I was able to efficiently explore Featherdale Wildlife Park in a short amount of time, understanding the characteristics and routes of various animals. During the Blue Ocean Sunset Tour, his prompt guidance also allowed me to capture great photos with beautiful backdrops. I was initially worried about the weather forecast predicting clouds in the evening, but thanks to our guide, I was able to quickly enjoy a brief stargazing experience at an excellent spot. I'm incredibly grateful to our guide for diligently taking photos of me throughout the tour, even though I was traveling alone, and for always striving to provide the best possible convenience. It was a truly satisfying tour!
At Featherdale Wildlife Park, you can feed quokkas and kangaroos, and even pet a wombat's behind! ♡ I got to see all the animals I wanted to see in Australia 🦘 The Blue Mountains are truly wonderful!! It made me realize once again how beautiful nature is 🥹🥹 You absolutely must do the stargazing experience… ⭐︎ It was the most memorable moment! They take beautiful photos for you, but since pictures can't capture it all, you really have to see it with your own eyes! It was even more enjoyable because we were with our kind and informative guide, Cha Kyung-seop!!
