What to expect

Located at an altitude of 3,460m on the 9th station of the Fujinomiya Trail on Mount Fuji, Mannenyuki Mountain Lodge is a highly popular mountain retreat. It’s only about an hour to the summit, making it the perfect location for those aiming to see the sunrise.

The climb from the 5th station takes approximately 4-5 hours, and the average time to the summit is about 1 hour. It is in a prime location for those wishing to see the sunrise.

Our lodge has staff fluent in English, Spanish, and Chinese, ensuring a comfortable stay for our international guests. Furthermore, and unusually for a mountain lodge, we offer smartphone charging facilities.

Recharge your energy for the climb with our overnight plan including dinner and breakfast (breakfast is a boxed meal).

The sunrise from the summit is an indescribable beauty. If the weather is favorable, you can enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the mystical sea of clouds.

Don't miss this opportunity for a special, once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Review for: Lodging only - One night at Station 9 (Fujinomiya Route)

The hut is location in 9th station which 3,460 meters above sea level. Ideal for summit ascent the next morning. However the room was small for us, we cannot stretch our body in the room. We can also hear the noises of other climbers.

Welcoming & friendly staff. Yummy dinner & facilities very good for a mountain hut.

Review for: Lodging only - One night at Station 9 (Fujinomiya Route)

The team up there is friendly... but it's a mountain hut... we're packed into small cells on very thin futons, so it's like sleeping on a wooden board. Collective wake-up at 1:30 AM... to go see the sunrise. What really shocked us, though, was how dirty the restrooms were, not cleaned in weeks or months... a foul smell... Everywhere in Japan, public restrooms are very clean, but here they're horrible and incomprehensible... there might be 10 people working at the hut... cleaning the restrooms and floor once a day would be the bare minimum... especially when they charge a fortune for a night for 150 people in a dormitory!!!

Review for: Lodging only - One night at Station 9 (Fujinomiya Route)

Paid RM975.85 for 2 people to stay@ the 9th station, the experience was completely unacceptable. Due 2 getting off at the wrong station n having to reroute, our hike was delayed by an additional 3hrs. We called the hut ahead of time to infrm we would be late. Instd of offering basic understanding or guidance, the staff member coldly stated that if we didn't arrive by 8PM, we shld just book somewhere else, showing zero empathy/hospitality. We arrived at 11PM to a pitch-black hut. Dnnr was forfeited, there was no staff to greet us, and no guidance was provided regarding our sleeping arrangements. Exhausted, we rested behind a curtain in what we assumed was an overflow area, only to be screamed at the next morning by a staff member claiming it was the "boss's room." Despite explaining our situation, the staff treated us w extreme hostility and disrespect. The facilities were filthy. For the price paid, this ws the worst mountain hut experience. Klook should vet their partners better.
