What to expect
Go on an action packed multi-day rafting adventure on the mighty Ganga and Alaknanda River! The Alaknanda River is the second major stream of the Ganga. It drains through the big mountains of Garhwal, and has numerous mighty tributaries, including the Nandakini, Mandakini, and Pindar. Ganga, on the other hand, is India's holiest river, and is better known as the slow, wide river that laps against the ghats of Varanasi. On this 3-day rafting trip, you'll be taken through thick forests and deep gorges, as you sail through the cascading whitewater and foaming rapids. Spend the night on the river banks in a tented camp, and admire the numerous temples lining the banks, which are inhabited by orange-cloaked monks. If you want to indulge in some heart-pumping action, this experience is for you.
