The seats recline fully flat. The air conditioning worked well. Although there was some swaying, I was able to sleep soundly until morning due to travel fatigue. I was a bit concerned because there was no restroom on board, but there were several restroom breaks, so it was fine as long as I didn't drink too much water.
Took a trip Hue to Hanoi. They store our luggage for free before the trip so we could explore the Hue city. Their office has great waiting lounge with toilet included. The bus itself was comfortable and beds were big enough to have a good sleep. They provide also blanket which comes handy bc of the strong AC. Bus made a few toilet stops, bc the toilet on bus was unavaible i believe. The ride took around 12 hours in total, but felt like it was faster.
The experience was great. The staff in Hong Kong spoke excellent Chinese, were very kind, and patient, which I highly recommend. However, the Klook customer service was unhelpful. When I asked for the address, they said they would check and get back to me, but I waited a long time and never heard back. I ended up having to look up the correct address myself. Aside from Klook's customer service, everything else was perfect.
I Booked the VIP LOWER DECK with HK BUS from Hanoi To Hue travelling overnight arriving early morning in HUE at 6AM Excellent bus company, very modern, clean bus – even a massage chair. USB charging and a multimedia entertainment system,Blanket, pillow and free water. To my suprise it also had a restroom which I was not aware of untill one of the passengers pointed it out to me. Slept comfortable the whole trip and was awoken once arrival. Good value for long-distance travel in Vietnam! Overall, it was worth the first time experience and would recommend! I will definitely be booking with this company again. Thank you for Making my first sleeper bus experience
Cabin was clean and comfortable, both me and my kids(in upper cabins) slept well. Sockets and charging points worked.Communication by WhatsApp before our journey was excellent. We would definitely recommend this company for a sleeper bus.
The sleeper bus was surprisingly comfy and incredibly nice. I slept soundly in the cozy bunk, arriving refreshed. It is a fantastic, budget-friendly way to travel!
I used it to go from Hue to Hanoi. The bus stop in Hue was not where it was described, but on the road opposite. The bus departed on time, took a toilet break two hours after departure, then a dinner break one hour later, and then took a final toilet break about four hours later, and arrived in Hanoi about 20 minutes late. The sleeper bus was a two-row type with fewer seats, so I was able to sleep more comfortably than other three-row types. Also, the seats had a massage function. As a note, if you get motion sickness, it's better to book a lower bunk rather than an upper bunk. For about four hours after leaving Hue, the bus rocked quite a bit, like a ferry running on rough seas.
I want to emphasize why I was assigned a seat at the very back, near the restroom, despite boarding early. I feel like this was done intentionally, and I believe the company should thoroughly investigate the staff member responsible for seat assignments at that time. I clearly informed them that I wanted to sit at the front, but they still placed me in the back, by the restroom. For a long time afterward, there were empty seats at the front, and I don't understand why this happened. As a company, do your employees treat people this way? This is a seriously unfriendly act. My English isn't very good, and I felt a bit disrespected by the person assigning seats on-site. I also want to mention that my ticket clearly stated a boarding time of 5:30 PM, but I didn't board until around 6:20 PM. I left a message for the platform but received no reply. It was only when I asked the hotel owner to call them that I was told to continue waiting. Therefore, I believe the staff's professionalism needs improvement. As an international company, you serve customers from all over the world. There will always be some who don't speak English very well, and they are already trying their best to travel. Please don't cause them such distress during their journey. In other countries, such as those in Southeast Asia, we've almost never encountered this kind of problem, but it's very common in Vietnam. I hope all Chinese people see this. The person who checked my ticket and the driver of the small bus that took me to my destination were very kind, and there were many moments that made me feel warm, but the person responsible for seat assignments did a very poor job and was very unfriendly.
It's best to arrive at the pick-up point one hour in advance when traveling from Hanoi to Hue, because it takes another half hour by minibus to the boarding point outside the city. You'll probably arrive in Hue around 6:00 AM. The ride was fairly smooth; at least I didn't wake up much. After booking the tickets, the pick-up point emailed me saying I booked a double berth, but Klook only showed upper and lower single cabins. In the end, we couldn't figure out who made the mistake. However, the sleeper berth on the bus was quite spacious for one person, but a bit cramped for two people in my spot. So, it's best to book tickets at the pick-up point.
The sleeper bus from Hue to Hanoi was a great experience. The seats were comfortable, the bus was clean, and the journey was smooth overall. A convenient and comfortable way to travel such a long distance.
