Kyoto: Nijo Castle Admission / World Heritage Guided Tour

Perfect tour guided by Wajad who was very well prepared on the story and events of the pal . Nice to know the history of Japan and its emperors and samurai. just keep in mind that the location you receive by mail takes you to gate 2, which is wrong , you have to search for gate n 1 exit , just on front of the palace

Our tour of Nijo Castle with Naoya was an incredible experience. He was very professional, spoke excellent English, and explained the history of the site in a way that was both clear and engaging. The location itself is breathtaking, and having such a knowledgeable guide made it even more special. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and truly great value for money. Highly recommended!

Aye was an absolutely amazing tour guide at Nijo Castle! He was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so many fascinating details about the castle, its history, and features that we never would have noticed on our own. I had previously visited Nijo Castle without a guide, and I can honestly say that this experience was 100% better. I learned so much and walked away with a completely new appreciation for the castle and its history. On top of being an excellent guide, Aye was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. When it started to rain during our tour, he even offered to get umbrellas for us! It was such a kind gesture and really showed how much he cares about the people on his tours. I cannot recommend Aye enough. If you’re visiting Nijo Castle in Kyoto, having him as your guide makes the experience so much more meaningful and memorable. Great tour with Dan. Love his straightforward explanation of the sites within the castle. As much as I enjoy the fluff of myth and legend, it was nice to hear the actual reasoning behind the traditions and symbolisms. Also provided great recommendations for food after the tour.
