What to expect

[Hsinchu Old Town's Representative Music Festival Makes a Strong Comeback — 2026 Old Town Party]

Huang Tzu-Hsuan, a musician who has won four Golden Melody Awards and Golden Bell Awards, has long used Hsinchu Old Town as a music experimental base. Starting from Dongmen REC&LiVE in Dongmen Market, he has continuously launched various cross-disciplinary music projects in the old town area, receiving attention and praise from both domestic and international music and cultural circles.

Since initiating the "Old Town Party" in 2020, it has disturbed the old town space in different forms every year: in 2020, the first music experiment was launched with Sorry Youth at the Hsinchu Image Museum; in 2021, a ten-year anniversary concert of mother tongue creation was held at Wind Live House; in 2023, the music scene was brought into the Confucius Temple, creating the first "Party at Confucius Temple"; in 2025, it further expanded to connect three century-old historical spaces, creating a multi-stage urban music exhibition. In 2026, the "Old Town Party" returns again, connecting three major cultural landmarks of the old town: Hsinchu Image Museum, Dongmen Market, and Or New State House. It invites 16 groups of musicians from Taiwan and abroad to launch a two-day non-stop urban party with diverse music styles and performance forms. At the same time, 25 selected markets are gathered, inviting everyone to wander freely between music and the streets, feeling the sound and vitality of the old town.

The 2026 Old Town Party energetically connects three major cultural strongholds of Hsinchu Old Town, creating a city wandering music festival. (More program information will be announced on the Old Town Party official IG. Admission to each performance opens 30 minutes before the show starts.)

This ticket is valid for use on April 18th and April 19th. Admission to the "Dongmen REC&LIVE" and "Or New State House" music stages requires a ticket. For event details, please refer to the event's fan page.
One person, one ticket, admission by ticket. Please prepare your ticket (KLOOK voucher), personal identification, and the email reply for real-name registration to exchange for an event wristband and event merchandise at the "Hsinchu Image Museum". The event wristband is for identification for admission to the "Dongmen REC&LIVE" and "Or New State House" music stages. During the event, please be sure to wear the wristband at all times.
Please keep your tickets and admission wristbands carefully. Tickets that are lost, damaged, or unidentifiable will not be reissued, and no entry or reissuance of tickets will be allowed with any other proof.
