Mekong Sunset Cruise

Had a lovely time on a New Years Eve sunset cruise. Price included pick-up from hotel, free drink on arrival and a snack. *Feedback to Klook* I'm not 100% the cruise we booked was the cruise we went on, but having said that, our cruise was excellent! Could be a 'lost during interpretation' but we definitely thought we were booking a different cruise and after booking, the name of the cruise was not visible, leaving us a little confused. Could be to do with the coding of the booking system?

the only bad thing i have to say about this is i paid extra for the cruise including a performance, but they told me since it was low season, they didn’t have enough people to do that one. but when we were on the river, i saw another boat passing by that was doing the performance with a full boat 😭 so basically i paid extra for something i didn’t receive and felt i got ripped off a little bit since they were in fact doing a performance cruise with enough people. other than that, i had an amazing time! we had many interactive experiences like releasing fish, writing down our burdens & wishes, & getting a blessed bracelet. so cool!

river cruises are plenty in luang prabang, but the traditional music and dance on this one really made all the difference. the drinks were okay, but the laotian food sampler plate was great.

It was very reasonable with cruise, light meal, and dance by young Lao people.

It seems the agency forgot about our booking. The car didn't arrive at the scheduled pick-up time as indicated in the email. We had to ask the hotel staff to call and request a pick-up. Upon arrival at the pier, the agency told us to board another boat with a cheaper package. We weren't dissatisfied with the service on the boat, but we felt that since we booked a more expensive package, we should have been on the boat corresponding to that package. And when we returned to the pier, there was no car to pick us up as indicated in the package.
