- Safety specifications
- Smoking and the use of open flames are prohibited in the scenic area. It is strictly forbidden to bring any source of fire into the park.
- Individuals with heart disease, high blood pressure, acrophobia, and other medical conditions, as well as pregnant women, people with disabilities, and the elderly, are strictly prohibited from entering dangerous areas such as cliff walkways.
- Please do not enter unauthorized areas. Climbing or crossing safety barriers is strictly prohibited. Watch out for falling rocks.
- Ecological conservation
- Picking plants and catching animals is prohibited. Please take your trash with you and maintain the scenic area's environment.
- Weather alert
- Wawu Mountain is located in the heart of the western Sichuan rain screen area, with frequent rainy and foggy weather and slippery roads. Please prepare non-slip shoes and rain gear.
Friendly Reminder (Essential for Travel)
- Staggered travel: During peak seasons and holidays, the number of tourists is high. It is recommended to make reservations 3-5 days in advance and try to avoid weekend and holiday peaks.
- Dress code suggestions: The temperature on the summit is consistently 5-8℃ lower than at the base of the mountain, so it is recommended to bring a light jacket even in the height of summer; in winter, windproof and warm clothing and non-slip shoes are necessary.
- Equipment preparation: Make sure your phone has sufficient power and bring a power bank (mountain signals may be unstable); photographic equipment such as cameras and telescopes (pay attention to warmth and fog prevention in winter); drinking water and a small amount of snacks (limited catering options on the mountain).
- Tour Planning: It is recommended to arrive at the scenic area before 8:00 AM to allow ample time (the entire tour takes approximately 6-8 hours); winter ice and snow may affect traffic on some sections, follow the instructions of the scenic area staff.
