What to expect
- Nine Creeks Misty Trees + Nine Creeks and Eighteen Streams Is a place known for its natural scenery. The journey from Nine Creeks to Longjing Village is about 4km, along the way there are clear streams, lush trees, and winding paths, making it an ideal place for walking and photography. The scenery of Nine Creeks changes with the seasons. Peach blossoms bloom in spring, lush greenery in summer, and a unique flavor in autumn and winter, making people linger and forget to return.
- Longjing Village The Longjing Tea Culture Experience Program is designed to allow tourists to gain a deeper understanding of the history, production process, and drinking methods of Longjing tea. Under the guidance of professional tea artists, tourists can participate in the picking and roasting of tea leaves, and experience every detail from tea leaves to teacups. In addition, the tea tasting session will introduce tea tasting skills and etiquette, allowing tourists to learn about Chinese tea culture in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere.
- 18 Royal Tea Trees Refers to a group of historical tea trees located in Longjing Village. These tea trees are hundreds of years old and were once tributes to the imperial court, hence the name “Royal Tea.” This tea tree not only has important historical and cultural value, but also the tea produced by these ancient tea trees has a unique taste and aroma. Here, visitors can hear historical stories about tea trees and appreciate the charm of rare teas.

This tour was amazing. My tour guide Tina was very knowledgeable about the area any time I had a question. Tina had great food recommendations too! I was a solo traveller so I wasn’t sure what to expect but Tina made me feel very welcome and comfortable. It was the best tour in my 3 week China trip so far! I highly recommend you choose this tour if you love tea, learning about tea and the culture or just the culture and history in general. The walk is beautiful, serene and so worth it!
The sights were really good. Meeting the local family who farmed the green tea was the highlight of the tour. The hike is okay, more like 10km than 5km. The guide was also on her phone half of the tour.
The weather was considerably warm but 小徐took good care of us and was attentive to our needs.
Xiao Luo was our guide, and it's a nice, casual walk from Jiuxi to Longjing Village.
We are two families of 5 with kids aged 7-13. we had a fabulous day with Tina with the scenic walk to the tea village and tea picking. Tina was super flexible and arranged a lovely lunch for us and then we had time so she took us on a boat tour of Westlake which was great.
Our guide, Eleven, was very nice! We enjoyed the tour with him, he shared with us a lot of information about the region and China in general, which was very interesting.
bonus pts for my guide who arrived earlier than the meet up time. he also shared alot of knowledge about the history of longjing tea in hangzhou, the plantation process, and other fun facts. he matched my pace, and was polite and pro-active. the whole tour was very comfortable. 10/10 will recommend everyone to try!
The tour guide's explanation was detailed, the walking pace was adjusted to our ability, and a lot of relevant Hangzhou information was provided. We are very satisfied.
