Tbilisi Ananuri & Gergeti Trinity Full-Day Tour

My husband and I had such a great time on our Kazbegi tour! Everything was super smooth and easy, so we could just relax and enjoy the ride. The drive itself was amazing, so many incredible mountain views and cool spots to stop along the way. Kazbegi was definitely the highlight. Seeing Gergeti Trinity Church up in the mountains was unreal, like something straight out of a movie. We had plenty of time to take it all in, snap photos, and just enjoy the scenery. Our guide named George who has a good singing voice. He was really friendly and easygoing, and shared some interesting bits about the area without it ever feeling like too much. The whole day felt well-paced and comfortable. Honestly, it was one of our favorite experiences in Georgia. Would 100% recommend it to anyone visiting!

The trip was a bit tiring because of the long drive and winding roads (keep your seatbelts on!), but it was absolutely worth it. The highlight was Gergeti Trinity Church with the stunning backdrop of Mount Kazbek, a postcard sight that truly captures Georgia. The pacing was good at first with enough rest and photo stops, though towards the end breaks became fewer since we had to clear the mountains before nightfall. The vans were comfortable enough, but I recommend bringing snacks, water, and maybe motion sickness tablets if you’re sensitive to curvy roads. Our guide, Nikoloz, was organized, attentive, and full of energy. He kept the tour engaging with stories and history, and his clear English made everything easy to follow. It also helps that he is patient, keen to smile, and addresses people by name. Overall, this is a must-do for first-time visitors. In one day, you experience Georgia’s culture, history, and landscapes along the famous Georgian Military Road. Maraming salamat!

Luckily, the weather was so good that it was the best for a day trip, and the guide Nick's explanation of the history of Georgia and the tourist spots was very kind and detailed. The time allocation was also good, with wine tastings, honey experiences, and breaks during the trip. The beautiful scenery of Ananuri Fortress, Godauri Observatory, Gergeti Trinity Church, and the snowy May scenery were unforgettable and good memories.

Our Kazbegi tour was awesome! Dimitri was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable about Georgia’s history and culture, and he explained everything in an engaging way. He also shared helpful travel tips and recommendations that made the rest of our trip even better. The scenery was absolutely beautiful, and the whole experience was well organized. This tour was excellent! Our guide on the way there was the humorous Dmitry, who shared many scenic views and historical facts with us along the journey. Since we chose to stay overnight in Kazbegi, we took their company's car for the return trip. Natali was our host, and she was beautiful, kind-hearted, and very gentle. She even helped a tourist retrieve their passport on the way back, which was incredibly thoughtful!

This itinerary was so superb. No dull moment! Even when Dmitry our tour guide was sharing Georgia's History, you wouldn't get bored, instead you'll appreciate the country more. Klook Bookings never disappoints.

Although I was disappointed that the mountain peak was hidden by clouds, I was still grateful to experience the breathtaking natural scenery. Since I was already quite tired, I actually appreciated that there wasn't much walking involved. Our guide, Giorgi, shared fascinating stories about Georgia throughout the tour and even sang for us with his wonderful voice, making the trip even more memorable.
