What to expect
- Starting from downtown Chengdu, we will take you on an intimate encounter with the national treasure, the giant panda. Directly head to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, which is the cozy home of giant pandas and an important base for global panda conservation and research.
- Our itinerary will ensure you have ample time to stop at multiple viewing points within the base, appreciating the giant pandas from all angles and perspectives. Whether it's the steady demeanor of adult pandas or the lively playfulness of young pandas, you will be enchanted and leave with deep and wonderful memories.
- After the half-day tour, a private car will take you back to your hotel in downtown Chengdu, concluding this fulfilling and pleasant journey. (If you need to take the scenic shuttle bus at the Panda Base, please pay on-site. Estimated cost: CNY 30 per person)
The Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding is a world-class conservation and research institution that integrates giant panda scientific research and breeding, public education, and educational tourism, simulating a wild habitat environment.
The giant pandas in the base are憨厚可爱 in appearance, mainly feed on bamboo, and their daily behaviors include eating, climbing, rolling, and sleeping soundly, often attracting tourists to stop and watch.

- Pick-up and Drop-off Service Area: We offer complimentary pick-up and drop-off service for customers within the 3rd Ring Road of Chengdu. If you require transportation to areas outside of this zone, additional charges will apply. The exact amount will be communicated and confirmed with you by our customer service team after your order is confirmed.
- Schedule: Standard departure times are around 9:00 AM, 1:00 PM, or 2:00 PM. The tour generally ends around 1:00 PM, 5:00 PM, or 6:00 PM, at which time we will drop you off back at your hotel. However, your needs are our priority. Time adjustments are flexible, and you can discuss the best departure time with our customer service team after booking. During peak holiday periods, we recommend departing earlier to avoid crowds and enjoy a more comfortable journey.
- Service Duration Reminder: Please note that our overall service duration is controlled to approximately 4 hours. If the service exceeds this time, overtime charges will apply. We will communicate and confirm specific details with you in advance.
