2027 New Year Countdown & Sunrise Adventure from Seoul / Busan

We departed right after the New Year countdown in Seoul, which made the experience feel even more special from the very beginning. The ride was comfortable, and I was able to relax and enjoy the journey. After arriving at Naksansa Temple, our guide clearly explained the different sunrise viewing spots, which helped us choose the best location. We were also lucky to experience a special New Year’s event at the temple, where free tteokguk was served—such a warm and meaningful way to welcome the year. We watched the sunrise from Uisangdae, and it was absolutely breathtaking. Seeing the sun rise over the sea in such a serene setting made this tour truly unforgettable.

Starting the tour right after the New Year countdown in Seoul made the whole experience feel truly memorable. The vehicle was very comfortable, so the early-morning drive was smooth and relaxing. Once we arrived at Naksansa Temple, the guide introduced each sunrise viewing spot in detail, which was very helpful. There was also a special New Year’s event that day, and we were able to enjoy a bowl of warm tteokguk offered for free—such a thoughtful and welcoming gesture. We watched the sunrise from Uisangdae, and the view was simply stunning. The peaceful atmosphere and the beautiful sunrise over the ocean made this tour a perfect way to welcome the new year.

The meet up was a little but confusing due to the large crowds but David contacted us quickly to ensure that we were where we needed to be. It was also very nice to have rest stops along the way and back. The sunrise was beautiful but very crowded at the temple. It was also a very helpful reminder from David to tell us to dress very warmly. It was very cold.

Bobby was an excellent guide! great at taking photos and very kind. The trip overall was a great experience. I definitely didn’t mind wearing more layers to stay warm it was very windy and cold out. happy to do this tour.

I had a very good experience! I'm glad I was able to participate in the countdown at Dongdaemun. It was cold and tough, but the weather was clear and I was able to see a beautiful first sunrise of the year. I was a little worried about participating alone, but the guide, David, was friendly and made me feel at ease. I would like to participate in a sunrise tour in Korea again!

First time counting down and watching the sunrise in Seoul. Our tour guide, Jimmy, will double confirm the meeting time via WhatsApp the day before departure, and provide warm reminders so we can be well-prepared. It was truly a great experience.

Chose the package to visit Naksansa Temple for the first sunrise of the year. The tour guide David was very dedicated in keeping us safe (he did headcounts of the tour group regularly) and he was considerate enough to make a number of stops along the way for us to use the toilet and get food. the sunrise was beautiful and overall it was a good experience!

David was a great tour guide. He made sure that everyone was comfortable and well attended to. He was always on point in giving instructions or directions. My husband and I have enjoyed this tour, particularly the New Year event at DDP and the sunrise watching at the beach. I will surely recommend this tour to my family and friends.

our first time to try new year’s sunrise in South Korea, even though it’s our 3rd time to celebrate new year’s celebration in Seoul. very beautiful and worth the wait to see the sun rising.
