Ski & Snowboard Pass for Beginners in Grindelwald

This was our 1st snowboarding experience, it was super fun and we manage to learn alot from Daniel. He is friendly and patience, teaching us the basics and we manage to do some turns at the end of the lesson. Definitely a fruitful session of a Full Day snowboarding lesson.

First off the cafe/shop where we get our snowboards was assisted by 3 super friendly staff, they will tell you exactly what you need/dont need, lockers, fittings etc and they are very transparent. Our instructor was Basil and he's super friendly, patient and taught us cool tricks too! Basil has really good stamina unlike us haha, so when we were resting, He explained to us the names of the mountains around.Yes, you will be snowboarding with a view! Half a day was already enough for us, when Basil left we played get to play by ourselves before returning our gears. Thats how good our instructor is for us to be confident enough!

Everyone was amazing! From rental to lesson, they were very helpful and informative. You will need more than a day to ski like normal but we took the full day crash course to experience skiing since we are from a country without 4 seasons. 10/10 would recommend

The instructor is very professional, attentive and patient, and will also take ski videos for participants. Even novices can learn basic skiing skills in one day, so it is highly recommended to participate.

The store is just outside Grindelwald train station. it provides all the necessary gears for beginners. the service staff is very patient in helping you finding the right sizes. The couch is friendly and experienced. great experience overall!

Really highly recommend this activity! We were two complete beginners and the coaches were extremely patient and friendly. They kept teaching us with great patience! The arrangements were really good, everything was smooth! Perfect experience!

Detailed instructions for the first time skiier. But only 2.5hrs, which turned out to be only 2 hrs skii, was definitely not enough.

I recently rented ski equipment from Grindelwald Outdoor Ski, and unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience with one of the staff members. The individual in question, who was wearing a shirt with “crew” on the back, was extremely rude during the process of giving out boots. Instead of being helpful and patient, they came across as dismissive and unprofessional, making the entire experience unpleasant. Skiing is supposed to be enjoyable, and the rental process shouldn’t be this stressful. Customer service is key in any business, and this interaction fell far below expectations. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and ensures their team is trained to treat customers with respect and courtesy.

(We arrived 30 minutes late with letting them know ahead, as the description said first hour will be spent for getting the gears). The shop had way more people than the staff capacity and getting the gear took us about 1.5 hours. Some staff were very nice but others had attitudes. If they are overbooked then they should have more staff capacity regardless of holiday or peak season. After we got the Ski and Snowboards which took unnecessarily longer time, we went to Bodmi by ourselves to find the instructors. Instructors are kind and nice, but everything seemed less organized. I took beginners class in other places in China, Korea, and Japan, and this was not as good of an experience from rental to actual learning.
