What to expect
Your paragliding adventure with Hong Kong Hike N Fly will start with a 20-30 minute hike to the takeoff location (either on the side of Sunset Peak, at Dragon's Back, or at Ma On Shan Country Park).
Once there, we will assess the weather, prepare our flight equipment, conduct pre-flight briefings and practice takeoff runs, do our safety checks, and then off we go flying in the sky!
You'll feel the wind on your face, your feet get lighter as the paraglider takes over, and you'll smile as we soar with eagles, above the mountains, jungles and beaches of Hongkong.
You'll need hiking or running shoes, light hiking clothes, hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, water, and snacks. Hong Kong Hike N Fly will provide all flight/safety equipment and GoPro cameras.

Good to know
- Paragliding is an extremely weather-sensitive activity: the more patient and the more flexible you are, the easier it is for us to give you a top-quality experience.
- Hong Kong Hike N Fly do not bookings for a specific location, as it is always dictated by the weather forecast (flying at the correct site is critical for ensuring safety). No worries, all the locations are in Hongkong’s most stunningly scenic spots!
- We carefully craft next day's plan in the evening, once we see the weather info, and share with you at 7PM.
- It is best to set most of the day aside for the activity: we might meet as early as 9-10AM, or as late as 2-3PM. Usually the whole excursion takes 2-3-4 hours, but it is always a good idea to prepare for a longer wait for ideal weather conditions. No worries, bring a picnic! We can't schedule sunset flights, but when they happen, it is pure magic and always worth the wait!
- The flights are between 10 and 20 minutes, but the actual flight duration is determined by wind strength vs passenger weight. We always ask participants near the maximum and minimum weight ranges (35kg-100kg) to be extra patient as it allows us to fly safely and deliver the best experience.
- After the flights, you may make your own way back home, or hike out with us, or continue hiking for more amazing scenery. We will show you all the options once we are there!
- If the weather doesn't let us fly, we reschedule to another, better day! Your patience = best experience!
